Sorry, couldn't put this in rock with a straight face.

Why do I always feel embarassed for the guy? He obviously enjoys what he does, and thinks it's
good. He's rollin' in dough and living life to the fullest. Peace Ringo! This is Ringo's sixth
studio album, so I'm not sure what The 4th represents. I was with him for the first three.
Sales plummeted for this one leading Atlantic to dump the moptop. Doesn't take long for a
Beatle to recover. Ringo hooked up with Vini Poncia, who played a big part in this album, Arif
Mardin produced, so the disco was seeping in. Nice back up on a few tracks with Bette Midler
and Melissa Manchester. I see that the song Wings on here was rerecorded and released as a
single on his 2012 album. It was one of my worst. It was released as a single then too, along
with Drowning In The Sea Of Love, neither charted. Nothing I love on here and four that are
just bad. My favorite, Gypsies In Flight features David Bromberg on guitar. The album did not
even hit the charts in the UK, and topped out at #162 here.

To the new stack for my first Pink album. I feel enlightened. I did borrow a best of from my
daughter, and from that knew I wanted to explore further. Picked this one up in the discount
bin for $7. Very good purchase for that price. Six love tracks on a studio album makes my day.
If this is pop music count me in. Not a thing here I don't like. This is Pink's fifth album. I
also have her second one sitting in my new stack. I should have spun it first but here I am.
Six singles off of this album, with So What hitting #1. This is her divorce album so most of
the songs touch on that, in a kiss off fashion. No punches pulled. The album was a hit
everywhere, hitting #1 in many countries and #2 in the states.

One of the greatest swing band leaders in history! Glenn went missing in a plane crash over the English Channel during WWII in 1944. I wonder how his music would have evolved if he had lived? ! 15 songs on this nice little CD ..from In The Mood . Moonlight Serenade, Chatanooga Choo Choo, I've Got A girl in Kalamazoo, and other recognisable tunes! The wife and I like to go back in time to 1939 before we were born to capture our favorite music before rock n roll.

Nat's third album...failed to do anything in the charts here at home and in the US but it did reach #1 in the UK....
it was always going to be difficult topping her debut album which sold upwards of six million copies worldwide(much like alanis with 'jagged little pill' i guess)...
some really good mature female pop/rock sounds happening here and several songs IMO better than her worldwide hit 'torn' from er debut set several years earlier...
pretty hard to knock her material from the lyrics to her vocals and the music..
allmusic only rate this one a converted 1.7, i on the other hand love it...so go figure!

Says this was first released as a self-titled album name, then later with the title Gypsys,
Tramps & Thieves. I must have the original as it just says Cher on the spine and label. After
the success of that single, I guess they said oops and changed the title for future pressings.
This was the seventh album from Cher as a solo artist and became her best selling to date. Good
album for me with two love tracks but two terrible covers. Two songs that should never be
attempted. Two singles were released which are my two love tracks. The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour
had just debuted on american tv which is probably what made this album a success. That title
track became a #1 single here and #4 in the UK. The follow up The Way Of Love hit #7 here. The
album topped out at #16.
