a recurring theme after every Christmas,
was thinking once again if we could share anything we received at Christmas, especially of a musical nature:
be it cds/records, music books (biographies/autobiographies), gift vouchers for purchasing music etc etc,
im sure you get the idea, right?

so far, $150 in giftcards for cds
a book:
not a biography as such but a book about how Bowie changed/created pop culture as seen through the eyes
of respected UK music journalist Paul Morley (NME 77-85)...
should be an interesting read to say the least because Bowie was one of the most complex, chameleon like ,
yet simple people ever to leave his mark on 20th Century Pop Culture.

I got four bottles of Bath & Body shower gel, the new Kenny Chesney album, a film named Stage Coach: The Texas Jack Story which stars country singer Trace Adkins, two blankets, a travel mug, and $10.00.
God bless you and Kenny and Trace always!!!

P.S. I may be getting a check later on with more money on it course, but if I do, right now I don't know how much it will be.
Listen to my most favorite singer here sometime, James Otto that is!

ended up with another $70 worth of giftcards for cds today plus the usual stock standard Christmas gifts of t-shirts, socks, coffee mugs, shower gel etc.
so $220 for cds, currently working out a list of which new releases from 2016 I want to purchase amongst a few older ones also.

Iâve been listening to the opening riffs of âCome As You Areâ and âSeven Nation Armyâ on repeat, all day, played on the guitar I got one daughter for Christmas (acoustic with pick up, but sans amp for now). Thatâll learn me!!
Just joking â itâs fascinating to see what someone who is innately musical (and persistent) can produce within a matter of hours â she plays piano by ear and has pretty much taught herself to read music with only a little help from me. Iâm suitably impressed â sore fingers on the way!

Not really - that Russian mail-order bride still hasn't turned up!
