The album is fantastic! and I have always considered Carl as a premier percussionist,,,I don't say "best" or use it very often when it pertains to the arts!..lol.
 The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!

Just finished listening to Dvorak's 8th Sympony by The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. (I didn't even know Pittsburgh had a symphony orchestra <G>)

I’ve been listening to a master of guitar and lute, Julian Bream, playing the compositions of the brilliant Brazilian, Heitor Villa-Lobos - Julian Bream plays Villa-Lobos. The album is very accessible, even for non-classical ears, and wonderfully atmospheric – love what little I know of Villa-Lobos’ work.

A double CD collection called 'The Spanish Guitar' that I picked up in Spain a while ago. Released by the Naxos label. Fantastic stuff. All the classics on two discs. Worth every penny.
