LOL, I had to check our Cathal Smyth on Wiki...
I obviously know him as Chas Smash from ska band Madness..
his trumpet was essential to the Madness sound IMO...
thanks for the linked track also Ruby.

^It's a pleasure. You should try listening to the whole album sometime CH. Might appeal to you although it's nothing at all like Madness. In fact, although they are poles apart, for some reason I file him and Colin Hay in a similar category in my music brain.

CHARLIE PUTH "nine track mind" cd, 2016:
Charlie's debut, and only album so far...
bought it on the strength o the brilliant "marvin gaye" single with Meghan Trainor...
shouldn't have bothered, its the only thing I like on the album...
he's had his fifteen minutes of fame as an artist, maybe he'll stick to writing and producing
for other artists now...

Celine Dion - Essential - 2011
from the unopened stack
it is dwindling
with 27 tracks, a bit of overkill for me here
not really a big fan but I felt she was worthy of a compilation
ended up liking 9
did not know she recorded this Jim Steinman classic
