... and talking of over-wrought production, they don't come much more plush than this.
Once again, this is probably a triumph of style over substance, since the FGTH musicians didn't really make an appearance on this release (reputedly recorded by Ian Dury's then-current band !!).
The real star of this show is Trevor Horn, the producer. Painstakingly put together to sound "awesome", this was one of the first hi-fi "demo" recordings I encountered. Makes Phil Spector sound minimalist...
Good album, but showing it's age a little.
