ROBERT PALMER "pride" cd,1983. #37 UK, #36 AU, #112 US
dissapointing album by Palmer's standards, and the chart positions it peaked at say that also..even the single 'you are in my system' barely scraped into the top 40 anywhere..not even breaking through the top 80 in the US.
too much fluff and not enough substance IMO, just lighthearted pop music,
touches of pop, light reggae, and way too much early eighties synth sounds here for me to really like.
nothing great on here at all, but i guess it is a pleasant listen overall
surprised by the lack of links here,shame theres not one for my favourite track, but at least my least favourite is there LOL
