Libya

i dont want to cause arguements with anyone here but i gotta say what im thinking:

heard this morning on the news that Gadaffi's private plane is loaded with gold bullion and millions of $US, ready to fly him to exile to his old ally Mugabe( not sure how accurate this is but it wouldnt surprise me in the least).

right!

if that is the case i believe the U.N and or the USA should have fighter jets on standby to intercept his plane and retrieve any monies he intends stealing from his people in Libya, i also believe that if his pilot refuses to comply with any UN/US orders to abort the flight into exile his plane should be shot down without further warnings!

this may sound harsh to some people but Gadaffi has been linked to terrorists and possibly orchestrated terrorist acts on western countries and on his own citizens for too long to be albe to get away scot-free!!!

It's funny, but my perception was that the Libyans adored the guy. Things must have changed.

Scumbag dictator or not, this is one for the Libyans to deal with IMV.

The West props up dictatorships all over the world, as it suits them, usually so that we can sell them arms. We shouldn't be surprised that dictators aren't necessarily good people.
