I like Sandstorm and Alice Deejay songs. My knowledge of techno isin't great. What are your favourite techno songs? :coffee:

One of my favorites are DJ Roots.

You can either post favourite producers, or DJ's..either will work

Happy new year everyone. Hope to see you all on the flip side of the new year.

I love hearing the influence of classical music in other genres.

post-rock, by nature, lends itself to be combined perfectly with classical music. Esmerine, Rachel's and Anoice are my favourites..

Doom is another genre where the influence is often present.. more so in structure than in musicianship, though Kayo Dot (and Toby Driver) are worth checking out on this front. bands like ASVA, Nadja, Everlovely Lightningheart..

anyone have any other recommendations for me?

Currently I having a tinkering for Johnny Cash. Just been listening to 'My name Sue, and personal favourite 'I walk the Line'.

Any other favourites out there from Johnny Cash?

It is with pleasure to announce that as of the 27th December 2007 Music Discussion is back in business with a brand new web-site, and a fresh new image.

The purpose of Music Discussion has gone back to basics, which is to provide a simple means for music lovers to meet and interact with each other. We all have something in common, and that is a love for music, and MD is here to bring us all together. The site has been purposely made as simple as possible without any third party advertisements or gimmicks. It is now purely a music forum for all to enjoy.

It will be a pleasure to meet both old and new members to the site. See you on the boards. ::
