as bellini48 said, last fm is awesome! Hear complete albums, continual you tube streams on last fm radio! I typed in roseanne cash and got her videos as well as a whole slew of other great country artists!!!,,,check it out!

Yes, over Grooveshark because of the video flow...however I don't know how current Last.FM is as far as current albums are concerned...Grooveshark may be better in that respect Music mate!
As for Spotify, it still isn't available in Canada!!!!!?????? Which do you prefer?

Ya that's what I find..try Last.FM. type in Okkervil River for example and see what happens! You have to click the forward arrow at the top right of the video to go ahead!...great stuff!

I loved using last.fm some months ago as a music discovering tool, but I haven't been using it lately because my backlog of bands I still need to check out more has gotten too big, and randomly picking a band on the metal-archives database, then checking out their stuff on youtube has been sufficient enough for discovering good new music lately. Though it tends to take more time and work wading through bands, whereas last.fm kept recommending me good bands more than half the time it put something on I hadn't heard before. I may re-subscribe to it sometime soon because of that, but probably only once I've checked out most of that backlog I have.

LOL !!! I know exactly where you're coming from, Sogna! Way too much music...and I like a lot of genres so it is virtually impossible for me to get a handle on it!!!!...lol I use another site ...google in ....WHAT THE F**K SHOULD I LISTEN TO NOW ?....type in a band you like and simiiar bands/artists are displayed! Valuable tool if you really love the band and want to get music that is similar!

I encourage everyone to make a profile on last fm who loves music. Or heck..anyone who is just a light music listener so the site can turn you into a serious music lover. I made my profile back in 2012 I think, didn't expect at the time to enjoy it that much or find a lot of artists that I'd love. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong! Heh..now I'm literally on last fm everyday. Never a dull moment. You can even discover new artists that you might like from browsing others profiles on last fm! Last fm is simply one of the best resources for helping you find new music that you'll love and one of the best sites (if not the best) ever for bringing more people together that truly love music and always encouraging you to stay in a constant state of happiness listening (or scrobbling) to music. I love last fm!
Other good sites, or rather music streaming sites that are very effective in helping you find new music based on other artists that you love is
Mog.com and Rdio.com. Last fm's radio is also great and way better than Pandora's for discovering new music. Additionally, Youtube is a good resource as well.
Once you get a Ad blocker that is. :-)
