UK singles chart overview 25th March 2016:
Congratulations to Mike Posner, who today notches up a second week at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart with I Took A Pill In Ibiza (Seeb Remix).After a last minute grab for Number 1 on last weekâs tally (the closest chart race in nearly a decade) the singer-songwriter comfortably manages to earn a second week at the top spot with 82,000 combined sales (including 4.1 million streams) â 11,000 ahead of his closest rival.
Mike Posner told OfficialChart.scom: âTo be Number 1 in the UK is quite an honour. Itâs very flattering to know this many people are listening to my music and enjoying it enough to give me money for it!â.
Meanwhile, Lukas Grahamâs 7 Years holds at Number 2, Fifth Harmonyâs Work From Home hits a new peak at Number 3 â matching their previous best with last yearâs Worth It â and Zara Larssonâs Lush Life is at 4.
This weekâs Top 5 is completed by Sigalaâs Say You Do. The Imani and DJ Fresh collaboration leaps from 46 to 5 this week, giving the Norfolk-born producer his third consecutive Top 5 hit.
[h=4]New Entries and High Climbers[/h]Siaâs Cheap Thrills jumps eight places to Number 8 this week, earning her â coincidentally â an eighth Top 10 hit, and Tinie Tempah and Zara Larssonâs Girls Like moves from 10 to 9.
Further down, production duo Blonde debut at Number 17 with their Craig David collaboration Nothing Like This, Joe Jonas-fronted band DNCE ascend five places to Number 21 with Cake By The Ocean, and 12 weeks after its release, Chainsmokersâ Roses makes its Top 40 debut at 33.

UK albums chart overview:
dele continues to prove unbeatable as she extends her lead the Official Albums Chart once again this week.
After a strong start from Manchester band James, who lead the way with their new album earlier this week, Adeleâs 25 has since managed to overtake them to log itself at 12[SUP]th[/SUP] non-consecutive week at the summit. The feat means James are denied their first Number 1 album in 18 years.
Jamesâ 14[SUP]th[/SUP] studio collection Girl At The End Of The World has to settle for second place, and Justin Bieberâs Purpose slides back a place to Number 3.
This weekâs Top 5 is completed by Jess Glynneâs I Cry When I Laugh (4) and a new entry from Iggy Pop. His 17[SUP]th[/SUP] collection Post Pop Depression enters at Number 5, giving the rock star his first ever Top 10 album.
[h=4]New entries and high climbers[/h]British electronic group Underworld are new at Number 10 with their first album in six years, Barbara Barbara We Face A Shining Future, Primal Scream land at 12 with their 11[SUP]th[/SUP] record Chaosmosis, and Gwen Stefani enters at Number 14 with her third solo album This Is What The Truth Feels Like.
Further down the chart, Irish band Walking On Cars leap 12 places with Everything This Way, and three new albums finish inside the Top 40: Hans Zimmer & Junkie XL's Batman vs Superman - Dawn of Justice OST (31), rock band Room 94's Lost Youth (33), and 30 Goes Around The Sun by The Wonder Stuff (38).

Australian albums chart overview for 26th March 2016:
For the fifth successive week, thereâs a new #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. For the fourth time in those five weeks, the debut is by an Australian artist, with Brisbaneâs Violent Soho taking out the top spot with fourth album Waco.
As well as a host of debuts, thereâs also a lot of movement up the chart including from Siaâs This Is Acting (up 3 to #16), Kendrick Lamarâs To Pimp A Butterfly (up 13 to #15 on the back of his tour), Disturbedâs Immortalized (up 6 to #19), Ed Sheeranâs X (up 7 to #22) and Madonnaâs The Immaculate Collection (up 6 to #31 as her tour wraps up).
Further down the chart thereâs a string of re-entries including Michael Jacksonâs Off The Wall (#27), Phil Collinsâ Hits (#30) and Troye Sivanâs Blue Neighbourhood (#39).
Debuts:
#1: Violent Soho âWacoâ â Violent Soho pick up their first ever #1 on the ARIA Charts thanks to their fourth album, Waco. The Brisbane band scored their first top ten appearance back in 2013 with their previous album, Hungry Ghost (#6 Sept. â13). Theyâre previously been nominated for five ARIA Awards.
Waco is the sixth Australian album to top the ARIA Charts in 2016.
#6: Gwen Stefani âThis Is What The Truth Feels Likeâ â Gwen Stefani returns with her third solo album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like. It comes ten years on from The Sweet Escape (#2 Mar. â07). Stefani topped the Albums Chart with her debut solo release Love, Angel, Music, Baby (#1 Feb. â05). In between solo albums, Stefani reunited with No Doubt to release Push And Shove (#8 Oct. â12).
#7: Iggy Pop âPost Pop Depressionâ â Iggy Pop picks up his first appearance in the top 50 since 1993 with âPost Pop Depressionâ. Popâs seventeenth solo album sees him team up with Queens Of The Stone Ageâs Josh Homme, The Dead Weatherâs Dean Fertita and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders. The punk godfather last charted with American Caesar (#29 Nov. â93).
#12: The Drones âFeelin Kinda Freeâ â Melbourne band The Drones pick up their third appearance on the ARIA top 50 with Feelin Kinda Free. The groupâs seventh album is their first in over a decade to feature original drummer Christian Strybosch. Itâs a new peak, taking over from previous album I See Seaweed (#18 Mar. â13).
#25: Koi Child âKoi Childâ â The debut album from seven-piece Fremantle hip hop/jazz outfit Koi Child. The album was recorded at a fishing-shack-turned-studio, on an island south of Perth and was produced by Tame Impalaâs Kevin Parker.
#36: Underworld âBarbara Barbara, We Face A Shining Futureâ â UK electronic legends Underworld return with their first album in six years. Barbara Barbara, We Face A Shining Future is their ninth studio album and the follow-up to Barking (#46 Sept. â10). Their highest peak on the chart was with Beaucoup Fish (#7 Mar. â99).
#34: Soundtrack âBatman V Superman: Dawn Of Justiceâ â In the week of its cinema release, the soundtrack to Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has debuted on the Albums Chart. The album features tracks composed by Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL, the latter of whom recently charted with Deadpool (Original Soundtrack Album) (#18 Feb. â16).

Itâs week six at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for Danes Lukas Graham and their track â7 Yearsâ. The single is now one week away from equalling the longest run at #1 by a Danish act, currently held by Aquaâs âDoctor Jonesâ (#1 Dec. 97).
After being certified Gold earlier in the week, Fifth Harmonyâs âWork At Homeâ has jumped three spots to sit in the top three for the first time.
A move up from #14 for âDance Offâ gives Macklemore & Ryan Lewis their fifth Singles Chart top ten.

#41: Justin Bieber âCompanyâ â Justin Bieber picks up his first new Singles Chart entry for 2016 with âCompanyâ. Itâs the seventh track to chart from the album Purpose (#1 Nov. â15), following on from âWhat Do You Mean?â (#1 Sept. â15), âSorryâ (#2 Nov. â15), âI'll Show Youâ (#16 Nov. â15), âLove Yourselfâ (#1 Dec. â15), âThe Feelingâ (#22 Nov. â15) and âPurposeâ (#40 Nov. â15).
#46: Dua Lipa âBe The Oneâ â The debut ARIA top 50 appearance for English-Albanian singer, songwriter Dua Lipa. âBe The Oneâ comes from her forthcoming debut album. It has already charted in a number of European countries.

UK singles' chart overview 1st April 2016:
Mike Posner celebrates a third stint at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart this week with I Took A Pill In Ibiza.The Seeb remix of Mike's track shifted 84,000 combined chart sales to log a third week at the summit. Thatâs an even stronger tally than last week (82,000), and takes the song to Gold certification status for passing 400,000 combined sales. I Took A Pill... is also the most streamed song of the week, with just over 4.2 million plays.
Addressing supporters of the song to OfficialCharts.com, Mike said: "To be Number 1 in the UK is quite an honour. I appreciate you making sure I don't have to get another job, and can do art full-time, and that's pretty cool."
Finishing 20,000 copies behind Mike are Fifth Harmony, whose tune Work from Home climbs one place to Number 2. A career best for the five-piece - their previous peak was Number 3 with Worth It in 2015.
The longest reigning Danish Number 1 in UK chart history, Lukas Graham's 7 Years falls once place to Number 3 and enjoys an eighth week in the Top 3. The band's self-titled album is one of this week's new releases.
Rising four spots to Number 4 is Sia with Cheap Thrills. It is a good job that Rihanna rejected the track, as it is now the Australian singer-songwriter's highest charting single as a lead artist. Her previous best was Chandelier, which topped out at Number 6 in 2014.
Rounding out this week's Top 5 is Zara Larsson with Lush Life. Her second appearance in the Top 10, her featured slot on Tinie Tempah's Girls Like, climbs to a new peak of Number 8.
[h=4]New Entries and High Climbers[/h]This week's Official Trending Chart Number 1 from Alan Walker climbs 7 spots to Number 11 today. After seven weeks of climbing and a week staying static at 18, Faded reaches a new chart PB, as does DNCE's Cake By The Ocean, which bounces up from 21 to 17.
Roses by The Chainsmokers continues to ascend the chart, rising seven places to 26, while Meghan Trainor's No also floats higher than ever. Ahead of her appearance on the final of The Voice UK in just over a week, No enters the Top 40 for the first time. The track is Meghan's fifth Top 40 single and charts at Number 30.

Congratulations to Zayn, who lands straight in at Number 1 on this weekâs Official Albums Chart with his solo debut.
Mind Of Mine takes the top spot on this weekâs chart, finishing just over 4,000 combined sales ahead of his closest rival, Adeleâs 25, which is knocked down to second place.
"I want to thank all the fans and my team at RCA and First Access Entertainment for everything they have done to help me start my journey as a solo artist," Zayn told OfficialCharts.com "It really is the beginning. I can't believe that I have managed to achieve this as a solo artist.

Another week and another debut at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. This time, former One Direction member Zayn Malik has taken out the top spot with his debut solo album Mind Of Mine (see below).
After four weeks at #4, Adeleâs 25 returns to #2 for a sixth week.
Moving up four spots to #9, Taylor Swiftâs 1989 picks up a 67th week in the top ten.
On the back of the success of their cover of Simon & Garfunelâs âThe Sound Of Silenceâ (#15 this week), Disturbedâs Immortalized has moved up six spots to #13.

#10: Birdy âBeautiful Liesâ â Album three from Birdy. It continues the English singer-songwriterâs run of top ten albums that began with Birdy (#1 Sept. â12) and Fire Within (#5 Oct. â13).
#15: Amon Amarth âJomsvikingâ â Swedish melodic death metal band Amon Amarth pick up their first ever appearance in the top 50 with Jomsviking. Itâs the bandâs tenth studio album, having formed in 1988 and released their debut album, Once Sent From The Golden Hall, in 1998.
#17: Joe Bonamassa âBlues Of Desperationâ â American blues rocker Joe Bonamassa makes his Albums Chart debut with Blues Of Desperation. Itâs his twelfth studio album. The release coincides with Bonamassaâs appearance at Bluesfest last weekend.
#20: Planetshakers âMomentum (Live In Manila)â â Worship group Planetshakers pick up their fourth chart appearance with Momentum (Live In Manila). Theyâve previously charted with Endless Praise (#30 Mar. â14), This Is Our Time (Live) (#30 Oct. â14) and #Let's Go (#28 Sept. â15).
#40: The Bennies âWisdom Machineâ â Melbourne band make their ARIA Charts debut courtesy of third album, Wisdom Machine. Itâs the follow-up to 2013's Rainbows In Space. The band are currently touring nationally to the albumâs release.

Mike Posner extends his reign at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart today with I Took A Pill In Ibiza.The Seeb remix of the song logs a fourth stint at the summit with combined sales of 76,000. I Took A Pilll⦠is also the most streamed song this week, racking up 4.1 million plays over the last seven days.
Posner holds off competition from Siaâs Cheap Thrills, which climbs two places to Number 2. Despite the track vying for the top spot on the Official Chart Update earlier this week, the singer-songwriter still claims a personal best as a headline artist on the UK Top 40, beating the Number 6 peak of 2014âs Chandelier. Her David Guetta collaboration Titanium topped the chart in 2012.
Meanwhile, Fifth Harmonyâs Work From Home drops a place to Number 3, Lukas Graham are at 4 with 7 Years, and Zara Larssonâs Lush Life completes this weekâs Top 5.
[h=4]New Entries and High Climbers[/h]Norwegian producer Alan Walker, who topped this weekâs Official Trending Chart for a second time, moves up four spots into the Top 10 with Faded, and Major Lazerâs Light It Up rebounds three spots to Number 10.
Twenty One Pilots edge closer to the Top 10 with Stressed Out, up three places to 12, as does Selena Gomezâs Hands To Myself, leaping from 20 to 14.
This weekâs highest new entry goes to Drakeâs One Dance ft. Wizkid & Kyla at Number 21, earning him a 15[SUP]th[/SUP] Top 40 hit, and The Vampsâ I Found A Girl ft. OMI is new at Number 30.
Finally, Kanye Westâs Famous vaults a massive 161 places to 33 after his latest album The Life Of Pablo was released on more streaming services following its Tidal-only release in February, and Swedish duo Galantis debut at Number 36 with their new single No Money.

Yhe Last Shadow Puppets are pulling the strings of the Official Albums Chart this week â theyâve scored their second Number 1 album with their latest effort Everything Youâve Come To Expect.
The near-decade long wait for new material from Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner and The Rascals' Miles Kane didn't result in a sophomore slump, with the duo outselling the runner-up record by over 6,000 copies.
Everything You've Come to Expect follows their debut collection The Age of Understatement, which debuted at Number 1 just shy of eight years ago. The new album is Miles' second chart topper, and Alex's seventh consecutive Number 1 studio album counting his with work Arctic Monkeys.
Nearly a quarter of the albumâs sales this week were on vinyl (7,300 copies), outselling the first week vinyl sales of Arctic Monkeysâ AM by just over 2,000 â a record that has gone on to become the biggest selling vinyl of the decade.

Lukas Graham's self-titled, debut worldwide release enters at Number 2, while Pet Shop Boys' Super begins its Official Albums Chart history at Number 3. The record is Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe's twelfth Top 5, and sixteenth Top 10.
Adele's 25 enjoys a nineteenth week in the Top 5, falling two places to Number 4. Rounding out the Top is Kentucky from Black Stone Cherry, the group's second Top 5 release.
Classical star and broadcaster Aled Jones enters just shy of the Top 5, with One Voice debuting at Number 6. The release is Aled's first Top 10 album in 31 years, after his second studio album Walking in the Air got to Number 5 back in 1985.
Japanese rock idol trio Babymetal score their first Top 40 album - Metal Resistance is at 15. Consisting of Moa Kikuchi, Suzuka Nakamoto and Yui Mizuno, Babymetal are the highest charting Japanese band in Official Albums Chart history. They were also the first Japanese act ever to headline Wembley Arena just last week, breaking the record for the highest sales of merchandise for a one-day event in the history of the venue.
Further down the chart, Mogwai's Atomic starts at 20, Weezer's self-titled release enters at 24, Very Rarely Say Die from Sunset Sons settles at 25 and Sasha's Scene Delete is a new addition at 34. Two more albums also enter the Top 40: The Heavy's Hurt & The Merciless is at 36 and Explosions in the Sky's The Wilderness is at 39.

Australian 'singles' charts overview for 9th April 2016:
Itâs a big week for Danes Lukas Graham! Not only has their self-titled album topped the Albums Chart, â7 Yearsâ has picked up its eighth straight week at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. It becomes the longest run at #1 on the Singles Chart by a Danish act, overtaking Aquaâs âDoctor Jonesâ (#1 Dec. 97).
A jump of eleven spots for their cover of Simon & Garfunkel gives Disturbed their first top ten on the ARIA Singles Chart. The album Immortalized has moved up a further six spots this week to sit at #7.
In its second week in the top 50, Gnashâs âI Hate U, I Love Uâ has jumped 21 spots. Olivia O'Brien originally wrote and recorded the track. The version currently charting is a reworking by the two artists.
Up six spots from last week, âDonât Let Me Downâ gives The Chainsmokers a second top ten for 2016, following on from âRosesâ (#5 Feb. â16).
It may have only moved up two spots but that move means âNoâ becomes Meghan Trainorâs fifth top ten on the ARIA Singles Chart.
Little Mix have moved up eleven spots to #27 with âSecret Love Songâ.

#35: Broods âFreeâ â New Zealand duo Broods make their top 50 debut on the ARIA Singles Chart with âFreeâ. Itâs the first single to come from their forthcoming second album, the follow-up to Evergreen (#5 Sept. â14).
#43: Drake Feat. Wizkid & Kyla âOne Danceâ â The second single to chart from Drakeâs forthcoming album Views From The 6, following on from âSummer Sixteenâ (#25 Feb. â16). Itâs the Canadian rapperâs fifth top 50 appearance as a lead artist.
#45: Safia âMake Them Wheels Rollâ â After charting as featured artists on Peking Dukâs âTake Me Overâ (#6 Dec. â14), fellow Canberrans Safia pick up their first top 50 entry in their own right with âMake Them Wheels Rollâ.

Moves this week come from Ed Sheeranâs X (up nine to #10), Twenty One Pilotsâ Blurryface (up eight to #16) and Essential Michael Jackson (up eleven to #27).

Debuts:
#1: Lukas Graham âLukas Grahamâ â Danes Lukas Graham pick up a #1 double this week. On top of â7 Yearsâ claiming its record-breaking eighth week at the top of the ARIA Singles Chart, the bandâs self-titled album has claimed the #1 on the Albums Chart. The album includes tracks from their first two European albums, including â7 Yearsâ.
#7: Babymetal âMetal Resistanceâ â The ARIA Charts debut for Japanese J-pop/metal band Babymetal. Itâs their second album, following on from 2014âs self-titled debut. They become the first Japanese act to ever chart in the top 50 in their own right. Yoko Ono peaked at #4 in February 1984 with the album Milk & Honey, a collaboration with John Lennon.
#9: The Last Shadow Puppets âEverything Youâve Come To Expectâ â Eight years on from The Age Of The Understatement (#30 Apr. â08), Arctic Monkey Alex Turner returns to side project The Last Shadow Puppets for second album Everything You've Come To Expect. Itâs the second installment in a trilogy of albums to be released by the band.
#11: In Stereo âSheâs Rock N Rollâ â 2015 X Factor contestants In Stereo make their Albums Chart debut with She's Rock N Roll. The EP features originals co-written by the three 16 year old Sydneysiders, Chris, Jake and Ethan.
#12: Pet Shop Boys âSuperâ â Electro pop legends Pet Shop Boys return with their thirteenth album Super. The follow-up to Electric (#24 Jul. â13) is their twelfth studio album to reach the top 50 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
#19: Nathaniel Rateliff âNathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweatsâ â The debut ARIA Albums Chart appearance for American singer-songwriter Nathaniel Rateliff and his band The Night Sweats. Prior to formation of The Night Sweats, Rateliff had released several solo albums.
#28: Weezer âWeezer (White Album)â â American indie rock legends Weezer nab their eighth top 50 appearance with tenth album Weezer (White Album). The album is the follow-up to Everything Will Be Alright In The End (#45 Oct. â14). Their highest chart appearance has been with Maladroit (#11 May â02).
