debut album from this Canadian singer of Portuguese parents....
her music on this one is a combination of pop, jazz, r+b/old school rap, latino and dance....
nice album with the varying styles of music, but sadly my interest in this one has waned in the last fifteen years since its release
and it doesn't come out nearly as high as I would have rated it all those years ago...
that's probably partly to do with her voice, its very nasally in places and the twang of her accents is actually quite irritating at times for my liking.
best track would generally come rom the two major hits in "im like a bird" or "turn off the light" but on this occasion im picking the ballad I love
towards the end of the album....
