What Did You Buy? - Jerome - 21-12-2015
Listening to it at the moment. Just rock-solid songwriting. This man is very talented.
What Did You Buy? - CRAZY-HORSE - 21-12-2015
The songs on the album aren't as catchy as the old
ELO material but they are well crafted,
Personally, I think his actual, writing has got better with age,
Don't forget to post your initial thoughts of the album mate.

Will do...................
What Did You Buy? - Jerome - 22-12-2015
The secret to this album is it's simplicity. Just basically easy listening - favourite has to be 'Love and Rain'. Strange thing is there are two bonus tracks but they are not listed on the liner notes. ????? Not a fantastic album, but worth the money. The guy has not lost his touch.
Spot the mistake in the main inner photo!!!!!!!

Is that the photo in the middle of the booklet????
What Did You Buy? - Ruby - 22-12-2015
^^I bought this too. Have only listened to a couple of tracks so far. I guess there is gravity in space after all ... or on planet ELO ... who knew??!!

What Did You Buy? - CRAZY-HORSE - 23-12-2015
I bought myself a couple of Xmas gifts today...
I too MH's advice about no Metallica prior to the delf titled album as the early ones were real metal...
Tem agreed so I bought:
![[Image: 51QAxiwI75L._AA160_.jpg]](http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51QAxiwI75L._AA160_.jpg)
METALLICA "load"
![[Image: 51Ln2gR101L._AA160_.jpg]](http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51Ln2gR101L._AA160_.jpg)
METALLICA "reload"
also on advice from Tem I picked up this one also:
![[Image: 61HWTpJzebL._AA160_.jpg]](http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61HWTpJzebL._AA160_.jpg)
METALLICA "st.anger"
I listened to most of "load" in the car today and its not bad for a first up listen.

"roger glover track" which cant be posted with another in a single post
I have never heard of Roger Glover....fantastic track!!!!!
the video with the frog reminds me of this piece of whimsical children's rubbish from Paul McCartney...
