For the second week in a row Calvin Harris has claimed the #1 spot on the ARIA Singles Chart with âThis Is What You Came Forâ. The Rihanna collaboration becomes Harrisâ longest run at #1 on the Singles Chart; his previous chart-topper âHow Deep Is Your Loveâ spent a solitary week in the top position.
After cracking the top ten for the first time last week, a jump of four has put Meghan Trainorâs âMe Tooâ into the top five for the first time. Itâs Trainorâs fourth top five on the ARIA Singles Chart and her first for 2016.
In its fourth week in the top 50, the debut chart appearance for Californian electronic trio Cheat Codes moves into the top 20 for the first time. âSexâ samples Salt-N-Pepaâs former #1 âLet's Talk About Sexâ (#1 Jan. â92).
There are also new peaks for Ariana Grandeâs âInto Youâ (#16), Twenty One Pilotsâ âRideâ (#25), Keith Urbanâs âThe Fighterâ (#28), Charlie Puthâs âWe Donât Talk Anymoreâ (#31) and Flo Ridaâs âHello Fridayâ (#39).

#34: The Avalanches âFrankie Sinatraâ â With their comeback single, The Avalanches nab their first chart appearance in 16 years. âFrankie Sinatraâ is the first release from the Melbourne collectiveâs forthcoming second album Wildflower (due in July). It overtakes âFrontier Psychiatristâ (#49 Oct. â00) as their highest-charting single.
#45: Shawn Mendes âTreat You Betterâ â Shawn Mendes picks up a third charting single from Handwritten (#18 Apr. â15) with âTreat You Betterâ. It follows on from âStitchesâ (#4 Dec. â15) and âI Know What You Did Last Summerâ (#33 Feb. â16).

ARIA Hall Of Famer Jimmy Barnes has become the ninth Australian artist to hit #1 album on the ARIA Albums Chart for 2016 thanks to Soul Searchin'. Barnesâs eleventh #1 album draws him level with U2 and Madonna for the most #1 albums in ARIA Charts history.
Moves up the chart come this week for Meghan Trainorâs Thank You (up four to #3), Drakeâs Views (up three to #7), Princeâs The Very Best Of (up four to #8), Taylor Swiftâs 1989 (up 14 to #14) and Meghan Trainorâs Title (up 13 to #17).

Debuts:
#1: Jimmy Barnes âSoul Searchin'â â With his seventeenth solo studio album, ARIA Hall Of Famer Jimmy Barnes picks up his eleventh solo #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, drawing him level with U2 and Madonna for the most #1 albums in ARIA Charts history. Soul Searchin' is Barnesâ fourth album of soul and R&B classics following Soul Deep (#1 Nov. â91), Soul Deeper... Songs from the Deep South (#3 Nov. â00) and The Rhythm and the Blues (#1 Sept. â09).
Jimmy Barnes has also topped the ARIA Albums Chart with Bodyswerve (#1 Oct. â84), For The Working Class Man (#1 Dec. â85), Freight Train Heart (#1 Dec. â87), Barnestorming (#1 Nov. â88), Two Fires (#1 Sept. â90), Hits (#1 Oct. â96), Double Happiness (#1 Jul. â05) and 30:30 Hindsight (#1 Sept. â14).

#10: The Wolfe Brothers âThis Crazy Lifeâ â The Wolfe Brothers notch up their Albums Chart top ten with This Crazy Life. The Tasmanian country groupâs third studio album gives them their third consecutive top 20, following on from Itâs On (#18 Jan. â13) and Nothin' But Trouble (#13 Sept. â14).
#13: Tegan And Sara âLove You To Deathâ â Canadian twins Tegan And Sara pick up a new chat peak with Love You To Death. The duoâs eighth album is the follow-up to Heartthrob (#14 Feb. â13) and is their fourth ARIA top 50.
#18: Beartooth âAggressiveâ â The second album from Beartooth gives the American metalcore band their first top 50 entry. Aggressive comes two years on from the bandâs debut LP, Disgusting.
#19: Ladyhawke âWild Thingsâ â New Zealand singer-songwriter Pip Brown, aka Ladyhawke, returns with third album Wild Things. Itâs her first album since Anxiety (#17 Jun. â12) four years ago. Ladyhawkeâs highest peak was with her self-titled debut (#16 Sept. â08).
#20: Hellyeah âUnden!ableâ â Metal supergroup Hellyeah snare a new peak with fifth album Unden!able. The follow-up to Blood For Blood (#41 Jun. â14) surpasses the bandâs previous best set by Band Of Brothers (#32 Jul. â12).
#21: The Kills âAsh & Iceâ â British-American duo The Kills grab their second top 50 album and a new peak with Ash & Ice. Their fifth album is the first in five years and the follow-up to Blood Pressures (#43 Apr. â11).
#24: Jai Waetford âHeart Milesâ â Former X Factor contestant Jai Waetford makes his first appearance on the Albums Chart since the Jai Waetford EP (#21 Dec. â13) with the EP Heart Miles. Waetford recently became a cast member of Neighbours.
#25: Roxette âGood Karmaâ â Legendary Swedish duo Roxette chart with a studio album for the first time since 2011 with Good Karma. Itâs their tenth studio album and the follow-up to 2012âs Travelling. Their last studio release to chart was Charm School (#49 Feb. â11). In 2015 Roxette charted with two compilations: The RoxBox - A Collection Of Roxette's Greatest Songs (#12 Mar. â15) and The 30 Biggest Hits XXX (#27 Mar. â15).
#26: Paul Simon âStranger To Strangerâ â The thirteenth solo studio album from iconic singer-songwriter Paul Simon. Stranger To Stranger is Simonâs first album of new material since So Beautiful Or So What (#41 May â11). Simon spent five weeks at #1 in 1986/87 with Graceland (#1 Oct. â86).
#30: Above & Beyond âAcoustic IIâ â The second ARIA Charts top 50 appearance for British progressive trance act Above & Beyond. The trio previously charted with We Are All We Need (#11 Jan. â15). Acoustic II features reimagined tracks from the previous release.
#47: Volbeat âSeal The Deal & Let's Boogieâ â Danish metal band Volbeat make their ARIA Charts debut with Seal The Deal & Let's Boogie. The groupâs sixth album is the follow-up to 2013âs Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies. They made their debut in 2005 with The Strength/The Sound/The Songs.

It was a close one, but Drake has managed to hold on to the top spot for an incredible 10th week, with One Dance seeing off a strong challenge from French producer Kungs.Kungs' remix of Cookin' On 3 Burners' This Girl was the midweek leader, but Drake snatched victory â and the Number 1 â by just 1,773 combined chart sales. One Dance, featuring Wizkid and Kyla, is the first song to top the Official Singles Chart for 10 weeks since Rihanna's Umbrella in 2007.
The Canadian rapper's first Number 1 as a lead artist was also the most streamed track of the last seven days. One Dance notched up 4.77 million listens this week.
Kungs and Cookin' On 3 Burners, then, settle for Number 2, while Justin Timberlake's Can't Stop The Feeling slips a place to 3. Calvin Harris and Rihanna also drop one, with This IS What You Came For at Number 4, and Drake and Rihanna both secure a second spot in the Top 5, with their collaboration Too Good moving up one to 5.
[h=4]New entries and climbers[/h]Cheat Codes and Kris Kross Amsterdam's Sex has broken into the Top 10 for the first time, rising two to 9, and David Guetta's official Euro 2016 This One's For You, featuring Zara Larsson, rockets 30 places to enter the Top 40 at Number 16 as the tournament gets in full swing.
Also making big gains is Dua Lipa's Hotter Than Hell, zooming 26 slots to Number 18, and the Stone Roses score their 15th Top 40 hit, with Beautiful Thing going straight in at 21
Britain's Got Talent stars the Neales go in at 22 with I'll Be There, while Tom Odell surges 39 places to Number 40, with Magnetised.

One of the closest fought battles in recent memory on the Official Albums Chart has led to Rick Astley claiming his first Number 1 in 29 years.50, Rick's first studio album in 11 years, tussled with Tom Odell's second studio album Wrong Crowd all week, the Number 1 changing several times in the last seven days.
"Itâs amazing, itâs incredible, itâs been a very very VERY long time since this happened before! Iâm ecstatic, I couldnât be happierâ, said Rick, who was presented with his Number 1 Award by OfficialCharts.com alongside The Sun's Associate Editor, Dan Wootton.
Rick took an early lead during the first two days of the sales window but Tom had taken over by Monday. Tom was ahead by just 14 chart sales on Wednesday, with Rick overcoming the odds on Thursday to take back the top spot. The Never Gonna Give You Up star then enjoyed a strong final day to finish 3,700 combined chart sales ahead.
Although Tom was most purchased in independent record shops and secured more digital and streaming equivalent sales, Rick raced ahead on physical formats.
Rick told OfficialCharts.com that he is a huge fan of Tom's: "I like Tom Odell, I bought his last album, and Iâm gonna buy this one as well, but Iâve held off from buying it this week! Itâs amazing to be mentioned in the same breath as him."
50 was already certain to be Rick's first Top 10 album in 25 years, but managed to go one better, becoming Rick's first chart topper in nearly three decades. His last Number 1 album was his debut Whenever You Need Somebody, in 1988.
[h=4]New entries and high climbers[/h]Aside from Rick Astley and Tom Odell, another nine new albums hit the Top 40 this week. Paul McCartney's fourth compilation album Pure McCartney is new at 3, ELO's All Over The World â The Very Best Of leaps 131 places to a new peak of Number 4 ahead of their Glastonbury legends slot, and Drake's Views rounds out the Top 5.
Beverley Knight scores a fourth Top 10 album with Soulsville at 9, and Gilbert O'Sullivan's The Essential Collection makes a strong debut at 11.
Rival Sons achieve their highest charting album with Hollow Bones at 13, and following the release of their new single Beautiful Thing, The Stone Roses' The Very Best Of rockets 77 places to Number 15.
Garbage's Strange Little Birds becomes their seventh UK Top 20 (17), plus Red Hot Chilli Peppers return to the Top 40: their Greatest Hits (19) vaults 97 places ahead of the release of new album The Getaway, released today.
Nick Jonas' Last Year Was Complicated and Kaleo's A/B - are new at 25 and 27 respectively. Beach Boys are sandwiched between them; their classic album Pet Sounds climbs 63 rungs to 26 in celebration of its 50th anniversary.
Finally, Bruce Springsteen's Greatest Hits returns to the Top 40, up 19 to 29, Motorhead's final live album Clean Your Clock charges to 36 and Band of Horses' Why Are You OK is new at 37.

As âOne Danceâ returns to #1, Drake picks up a second entry in this weekâs top five with âToo Goodâ. The collaboration with Rihanna is up six spots from last week and becomes the rapperâs third top five from the #1 album Views (#1 May â16).
Up six spots from last week to #11, Ariana Grandeâs âInto Youâ is the highest-charting single from Dangerous Woman (#1 May â16). Itâs one spot behind the peak reached by teaser track âFocusâ (#10 Nov. '15).

#45: Fifth Harmony Feat. Fetty Wap âAll In My Head (Flex)â â After peaking at #3 with âWork From Homeâ Fifth Harmony nab a second charting track from 7/27 (#8 Jun. â16) with the Fetty Wap collaboration âAll In My Head (Flex)â.
#48: Usher âCrashâ â R&B star Usher picks up his first chart appearance in two years with âCrashâ. The track comes from Usherâs forthcoming eighth album Flawed. He last charted with âShe Came To Give It To Youâ (#32 Sept. â14).

In what is becoming a fairly regular occurrence, thereâs another new #1 on the ARIA Charts this week and itâs Australian. The Temper Trapâs Thick As Thieves is the tenth Australian album to hit #1 on the ARIA Charts in 2016.
Up from #4, Adeleâs 25 has hit #2 for the first time since April. Itâs the albumâs ninth week in that position. Her 21 album is up sixteen spots to #20.
Ahead of the likely debut of their eleventh album The Getaway on next weekâs chart, Red Hot Chili Peppers re-enter the chart with Greatest Hits. The album originally peaked at #2 in December 2003.
Debuts:
#1: The Temper Trap âThick As Thievesâ â Melbourneâs The Temper Trap pick up their second #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with Thick As Thieves. The groupâs third studio album is the follow-up to 2012âs self-titled release (#1 May â12) and features the single âFall Togetherâ (#May â16).
#9: Garbage âStrange Little Birdâ â Alt-rock veterans Garbage return with their sixth album and first in four years, Strange Little Birds. Itâs the second album released by the band following their reformation in 2010, the first being Not Your Kind Of People (#8 May â12). All of Garbageâs studio albums have charted in the top ten in Australia, with Beautiful Garbage topping the chart for one week in October 2001.
#11: Dope Lemon âHoney Bonesâ â Dope Lemon, the new project from Angus Stone, release their debut album Honey Bones. Itâs Stoneâs third album release outside of the ARIA Award winning duo of Angus & Julia Stone, following on from Smoking Gun by Lady Of The Sunshine (#45 Apr. â09) and the Angus Stone solo album Broken Brights (#2 Jul. â12). Dope Lemon features Rohin Brown (The Walking Who) and Elliot Hammond (The Delta Riggs).
#13: Nick Jonas âLast Year Was Complicatedâ â The third solo album from Nick Jonas gives the American performer his highest peak on the ARIA Albums Chart. The follow-up to Jonasâ self-titled second album (#40 Mar. â15) features the single âCloseâ (#37 Apr. â16).
#18: letlive. âIf I'm The Devil...â â American post-hardcore band letlive. grab their first ARIA top 50 appearance thanks to If I'm The Devil.... Itâs their fourth studio album and the follow-up to 2013âs The Blackest Beautiful.
#22: Band Of Horses âWhy Are You OKâ â Band Of Horses pick up their third ARIA top 50 album with Why Are You OK. Itâs their fifth album and first since Mirage Rock (#21 Sept. â12) four years ago. Infinite Arms (#19 May â10) remains the quintetâs highest chart peak.
#26: Paul McCartney âPure McCartneyâ â This new retrospective set from Paul McCartney takes in highlights from throughout his post-Beatles career as a solo artist and as the leader of Wings. It includes material spanning from 1970âs McCartney, right through to 2013âs New (#22 Oct. â13) and comes in several iterations including two and four CD sets.
#29: Tom Odell âWrong Crowdâ â The second album from Tom Odell gives the British singer-songwriter his first top 50. Wrong Crowd is the follow-up to 2013âs Long Way Down.
#32: Play School â50 Best Songsâ â Released to celebrate the 50th birthday of the much-loved childrenâs TV institution Play School, 50 Best Songs features a collection of the best-loved tracks from throughout the showâs history, performed by a wide range of much-loved presenters.
#41: Ngaiire âBlastomaâ â Sydney-based, Papua New Guinea-born artist Ngaiire makes her Albums Chart debut with Blastoma. The singer-songwriterâs second album comes three years on from her debut Lamentations.
#42: Original Broadway Cast Of Hamilton âHamilton (Original Broadway Cast Recording)â â On the back of its eleven Tony Awards, the soundtrack to the hit Broadway musical Hamilton makes its chart debut. In the US, the album is the highest-charting cast album since 1963 and was the first cast album to ever peak at number one on the Rap Album chart.

I guess they conted both the two and four cd set deluxe as 'one and the same' which it should be IMO.
