That's just what 2 SiriusXM channels do--"Deep Tracks" plays unusual older stuff and "TheLoft", newer. The other Internet radio stations have similar channels, no doubt, and that's where us eclecticists have to go. Cheap enough at $9/month per unit that receives it and home service is available.

not only Pirate stations SteveO, but "rebel djs" also.....
radio in the UK refused to play Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody because of the length of it but rebel BBC Radio host Kenny Everett played it anyway....he was instantly dismissed from the network, but the rest is history with that track....
the question that will always remain unanswered though is....
would it have been a mega-hit had it not been played on radio????
as some songs that are brilliant that don't get played bomb on the charts whilst others sell because they are banned or not given airplay....we'll never know I guess, but it doesn't matter anyway as the fact remains it was a huge hit and probably their most ambitious release ever(probably one of the most ambitious releases ever for its recording complexity)....

As for his delusions of grandeur and genius....
It would have been difficult for him and McCartney to be in the same recording booth at the same time,but at least Macca has his back catalogue to stand by...

I don't know, and I can't speak for all-time cause I'm not gonna claim to be a West fan, but I have noticed lately that, when he is involved with a good song it seems to either only feature him or it it is an older, well established song in a different genre and he makes some changes to. I can't think of anything off my head, especially recently, that has wowed me that is completely him, and him alone. (But then again, I'm not extremely well verses on all things Kanye.)

I have Kanye's album titled something like "my dark twisted fantasy", or whatever it was called....
I bought it to fill in the giftcard gifts I received that year because it was on all of the "best albums" lists of that year.....
its a piece of crap overall,only a handful of tracks I can honestly say I like....
he's probably the most overrated artist(if you want to call him an artist) I have heard in a long,long time...
I still cannot belive McCartney worked with him....I s'pose Kanye believes that Macca 'needed' to work with him or that he believes he is a reincarnated Lennon...
and all that crap interrupting Taylor Swift when she won her first Grammy a few years ago....what an ar$eh0le!
that's my last post on Kanye, he doesn't deseve my attention and focus for one more minute!
