Been to movies recently? - Jerome - 06-01-2011 The last movie I saw in a theatre was the IMAX film Everest. There was never any reason to go back. IMAX was a wide format film type and to be quite honest nothing has come close since. This was somewhere around 2000 or 1999! People want quantity not quality. Poor fools. Been to movies recently? - BiteMe101 - 06-01-2011 I went to see the new harry potter :L the first one that actually follows the book but you do get a numb bum Been to movies recently? - CMB1888 - 07-01-2011 The Way Back That film about people escaping from the Siberian gulags with Colin Farrell in it - it was decent. Been to movies recently? - techman - 09-01-2011 Today I went to see '127 Hours', a story about a guy who got his hand stuck when a rock fell on him while hiking. This is another Danny Boyle film who also directed 'Slumdog Millionaire'. I thought this was an excellent film, and acting was brilliant. I would recommend for people to go and see. Been to movies recently? - Tiggi - 28-01-2011 Went to see The King's Speech last night. Very good film, with excellent performances from Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush, & Helena Bonham-Carter. Good human story of George the sixth's agony in having to combine public speaking on the grandest scale with a terrible stammer. The friendship that develops between George & his speech therapist - played by Rush - is touching and understated. Strong recommendation.
