I've actually heard some downtempo experimental acoustic stuff from Noel as an act called 'Tetrahedran' ?? - will need to check wikipedia. However, both Oasis and Nirvana were very over-rated for me... the former being a throwback to a 60s sound whereas Nirvana, hmmm... well The Pixies and Sonic Youth were already streets ahead of anything they did. Although Nirvana unplugged is very good.. especially the cover version of The Vaselines' Plateau.

Nirvana 'unplugged' is one of the greatest live cds/dvds that i own, as for the rest of their albums...i havent heard one that i like...i dont know how many they released but ive heard the first two.
