[h=4]New entries and high climbers[/h]A number of classic records currently on promotion in over 600 selected retailers as part of the 60[SUP]th[/SUP] anniversary of the Official Albums Chart celebrations (based on the UKâs 60 biggest selling records) make big gains this week. The first is Bob Marley & The Wailerâs Legend, which zooms 31 places to Number 8 â its first appearance in the Top 10 in 32 years.
Others classic climbers are Ed Sheeranâs X at Number 17, Abbaâs Gold at 30 (up 45 places), and Queenâs Greatest Hits, up 33 spots to 39.
Elsewhere, Good Charlotte earn their fourth Top 20 album with Youth Authority, new at 13, and Jeff Beckâs first album in six years Loud Hailer enters at 27.
Finally, Gregory Porterâs debut Liquid Spirit re-enters the Top 40 at 29 (up 60 places), and Taylor Swiftâs 1989 jumps 30 spots to 37.

With âRiseâ, her first single in two years, Katy Perry has scored her fourth #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
After debuting at #37 last week, âPapercutsâ has jumped 29 spots to #8 this week to give Illy his first top ten on the ARIA Singles Chart. The Melbourne rapperâs previous best was with âTightropeâ (#18 Jun. â14).
A jump of one spot has given Little Mix their fourth top ten on the ARIA Singles Chart. The British girl group have previously charted in the top ten with âWingsâ (#3 Nov. â12), âChange Your Lifeâ (#8 Apr. â13) and âBlack Magicâ (#8 Jun. â15).
Moving up 18 spots to #12 from last weekâs debut position, âAlarmâ overtakes âDo It Rightâ (#22 May â16) as Anne-Marieâs highest-charting single.

#1: Katy Perry âRiseâ â With her first new entry on the ARIA Singles Chart since âThis Is How We Doâ (#18 Sept. â14), Katy Perry scores her fourth #1 single. âRiseâ was created as an anthem for the upcoming Rio Olympics. Her three previous #1 singles were with âI Kissed A Girlâ (#1 Aug. â08), âCalifornia Gurlsâ (#1 Jun. â10) and âRoarâ (#1 Aug. â13).
#21: 5 Seconds Of Summer âGirls Talk Boysâ â The latest single from 5 Seconds Of Summer comes from the soundtrack to the new Ghostbusters film. Their first appearance on the chart since âJet Black Heartâ (#34 Sept. â15) gives the Sydney quartet their tenth top 50 single.
#39: Britney Spears Feat. G-Eazy âMake Meâ¦â â After hitting the chart last year with the Iggy Azalea collaboration âPretty Girlsâ (#27 Jun. â14), Britney Spears returns with new single âMake Meâ¦â. Featuring rapper G-Eazy, the track is expected to be on Spearsâ forthcoming ninth album. Itâs Spearsâ 31st top 50 appearance as a lead artist.
#42: Snakehips Feat. Zayn âCruelâ â Following on from their chart debut âAll My Friendsâ (#3 Jan. â16), British electronic duo Snakehips pick up a second chart entry with the Zayn collaboration âCruelâ.

Debuts:
#1: Good Charlotte âYouth Authorityâ â With their first album in six years, American pop punks Good Charlotte claim their second #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Youth Authority is the bandâs first release since returning from a hiatus undertaken after the release of Cardiology (#3 Nov. â10). In between Good Charlotte releases, Joel and Benji Madden released their debut as The Madden Brothers, Greetings From California (#1 Sept. â14). Good Charlotte first topped the ARIA Albums Chart with The Chronicles Of Life And Death (#1 Oct. â04).
#3: Peter Garrett âA Version Of Nowâ â The debut solo album from Midnight Oil front man and former Federal MP, Peter Garrett. A Version Of Now is Garrettâs first new music since the Midnight Oil album Capricornia (#8 Mar. â02). Heâs just begun a national tour in support of the album.
#14: Emma Louise âSuper Cryâ â Album two from Brisbane singer-songwriter Emma Louise. Super Cry is the follow up to 2013âs debut vs Head vs Heart (#12 Apr. â13). Her debut album earned Emma Louise a nomination for Best Female Artist at the 2013 ARIA Awards.
#19: Stonefield âAs Above, So Belowâ â The second album from Stonefield gives the Victorian sisters their highest peak on the Albums Chart. As Above, So Below comes three years on from the quartetâs self-titled debut (#21 Oct. â13).
#21: Soundtrack âGhostbustersâ â The soundtrack to the new Ghostbusters film. It features tracks by the likes of Zayn, Elle King, Mark Ronson and Fall Out Boy. 5 Seconds Of Summerâs contribution, âGirls Talk Boysâ, has debuted at #21 on this weekâs Singles Chart. The soundtrack to the original Ghostbusters film peaked at #11 in December 1984.
#35: Michael Kiwanuka âLove & Hateâ â British soul artist Michael Kiwanuka makes his top 50 debut Love & Hate. Kiwanukaâs second album comes more than four years on from his debut, 2012âs Home Again.
#37: Steven Tyler âWe're All Somebody From Somewhereâ â After 46 years fronting Aerosmith, Steven Tyler releases his debut solo album We're All Somebody From Somewhere. The country album includes a re-working of the Aerosmith hit âJanie's Got A Gunâ (#1 Feb. â90).
#38: Jeff Beck âLoud Hailerâ â The eleventh solo studio album from guitar hero and former Yardbird Jeff Beck. Loud Hailer is Beckâs first album since Emotion & Commotion (#49 Apr. â10) six years ago.
#43: Slim Dusty âPrime Moversâ â A new compilation from the late, great Slim Dusty. Prime Movers features 20 classic trucking songs from throughout the ARIA Hall Of Famersâ career. Slim Dusty last charted with The Den Tapes (#27 Nov. â15).
#46: NeedToBreathe âH A R D L O V Eâ â NeedToBreathe make their 50 debut with sixth album H A R D L O V E. The American band released their debut album Daylight in 2006 and their last two albums have charted in the top ten in the US.

It's happened - Drake is no longer Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart. Drizzy's 15-week stay at the top spot - the second longest consecutive stint in UK chart history - is over; his Wizkid and Kyla collaboration One Dance has slipped four places and finishes at this week's Number 5.
Our new Number 1 is Cold Water, Major Lazerâs powerhouse collaboration with Justin Bieber and MÃ, which notches up 102,000 combined sales to take the top spot, including 5.56 million streams and 47,000 downloads. The track is Major Lazer and MÃ's first Number 1 single and Justin's fourth.
On landing their first UK chart-topper, Major Lazer told OfficialCharts.com: "We can't believe we have our first Number 1 and are amazed at the support from the UK and are so thankful for the amazing Because team that we work Major Lazer records with. We have a lot more coming for you this summer!"
Released last Friday (July 22), Cold Water is the second single to shoot straight to Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart this year - Zaynâs debut solo offering Pillowtalk debuted at the top back in February.
In addition to ending Drake's impressive streak at the helm of the Official Singles Chart, Cold Water has made even more history. The Ed Sheeran-penned track marks the first time in UK chart history that two Danish acts have reached Number 1 in the same year, those being MÃ and Lukas Graham's 7 Years.
2016 is also the first year that four songs by Canadian artists have hit Number 1: Justin Bieber on Cold Water and Love Yourself, Stitches by Shawn Mendes and Drake's One Dance.
The rest of this week's Top 5 looks like this: Jonas Blue and JP Cooper's Perfect Strangers holds firm at Number 2, Calum Scott's Dancing On My Own climbs one to hit a new peak of Number 3 and The Chainsmokers tumble one spot with Don't Let Me Down.
[h=4]New entries and high climbers[/h]Elsewhere in the Top 10, Shawn Mendesâ Treat You Better climbs three places to a new high of Number 6, and Kent Jones' Don't Mind rises 10 to 9 following his performance in BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge earlier this week.
Bastille's Good Grief is a big climber this week, vaulting to a new peak of 15, up nine places from last week's 24. MÃ is back again with her solo hit Final Song which climbs two rungs (17), and she is closely followed by M.O - the girl group's first Top 40 entry Who Do You Think Of rises from 35 to 25.
Christine and the Queens' Tilted moves two places to a new PB of 27, as does Charlie Puth and Selena Gomez's We Don't Talk Anymore (28). Anne-Marie's Alarm is a new entry in this week's Top 40, up 23 placings to 32, and finally Snakehips' Cruel featuring Zayn floats five places to 33.

It's been a long time coming, but ELO's All Over The World â The Very Best Of has hit Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart for the very first time, over a decade after its original release.The hits retrospective, which recently passed the million-sales mark after Jeff Lynne's ELOâs performance at Glastonbury, was first released in summer 2005, peaking at Number 6.
Today All Over The World leaps from 7 to Number 1 on the chart, marking ELO's first chart-topping album in 35 years. They previously reached the summit with 1979âs Discovery and Time in 1981. .
"Thirty five years between Number 1 albums! I'm totally amazed," Jeff told OfficialCharts.com. "Thanks to everyone that made it possible."
2016 has been a huge year for ELO. As well as their Glasto slot and a Number 1 album, the band have a sold-out worldwide arena tour and will put their biggest show to date at Wembley Stadium on June 24 2017.
Meanwhile, Christine & The Queens hit a new peak with Chaleur Humaine, climbing 3 to 2, Drakeâs Views is at 3, Adeleâs 25 slips 2 to 4, and Coldplayâs A Head Full Of Dreams completes the Top 5.
[h=4]New entries and climbers[/h]British rockers Bearâs Den land their first Top 40 album this week with their second LP Red Earth & Pouring Rain, this weekâs highest new entry at Number 6. Band member Kev Jones told OfficialCharts.com of the result: "Weâre overwhelmed by how Red Earth & Pouring Rain has been received this week. We canât wait to tour the album in the autumn."
Gregory Porterâs two most recent albums both make big gains â latest release Take Me To The Alley is up 9 to Number 11, while 2013's Liquid Spirit leaps 11 slots to 18.
Abba's greatest hits collection Gold rises seven places to 23, while Taylor Swiftâs 1989 continues to climb back up the chart, up ten places to 27, and Bastilleâs Bad Blood rebounds 12 places to 36.
Finally, British electronic duo HONNE score their first Top 40 with their debut full-length album Warm On A Cold Night, landing at 37.

Justin Bieber & MÃ âCold Waterâ â With the first single from their forthcoming fourth album Music Is the Weapon, American electronic trio Major Lazer has scored their second #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. The groupâs first chart appearance since âBe Togetherâ (#33 Nov. â15) comes just over a year on from their first #1, âLean Onâ (#1 Apr. â15). As well as being co-written by trackâs featured artists, Justin Bieber and MÃ, one of the other co-writers is Ed Sheeran.
#39: Mike Perry âThe Oceanâ â Swedish DJ/producer Mike Perry makes his top 50 debut with âThe Oceanâ. Perry, whose real name is Mikael Persson, produces music alongside his day job, which is servicing Volvo diesel car engines in Skövde, Sweden.
#42: Jonas Blue âPerfect Strangersâ â After topping the chart with âFast Carâ (#1 Feb. â16), British producer Jonas Blue returns to the top 50 with âPerfect Strangersâ. Like its predecessor, the single has peaked at #2 in the UK.

With their thirteenth studio album, Gimme Some Lovin' (Jukebox Vol. II), Human Nature have become the thirteenth Australian act to hit #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart in 2016. The quartetâs previous album, Jukebox, has re-entered the chart at #24.
Flumeâs Skin has experienced a jump of 13 spots following the producerâs headline slot at last weekendâs Splendour In The Grass. A former #1, this week is Skinâs ninth straight week in the top 50 and sixth week overall in the top ten.
Since debuting at #1 in May, Ripcord hasnât left the top ten (including a second week at #1). In its twelfth week in the top ten, Keith Urbanâs third #1 album has moved back up from #10 to #7.
After eight weeks out of the top 50, Matt Corbyâs debut album returns to the top 50 for a twelfth week. The former #1âs resurgence comes on the back of Corbyâs Splendour In The Grass set.
Splendour In The Grass has led to a host of re-entries this week, including The Cureâs Greatest Hits (#27), Jack Garrattâs Phase (#31) and Gang Of Youthsâ The Positions (#35).
After scoring her first #1 single in the US, Sia has re-entered the top 50 at #38 with This Is Acting.

#1: Human Nature âGimme Some Lovin': Jukebox Vol. IIâ â Sydney quartet Human Nature pick up their fourth #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with Gimme Some Lovin' (Jukebox Vol. II). The follow-up to Jukebox (#2 Nov. â14) is the groupâs thirteenth studio album and their first #1 since Dancing In The Streets: The Songs Of Motown II (#1 Oct. â06). The new album features covers of tracks originally recorded by The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Spencer Davis Group and Sam Cook, amongst others. Human Nature has also topped the ARIA Albums Chart with Counting Down (#1 May â99), Dancing In The Streets: The Songs Of Motown II (#1 Dec. â05).
#8: Periphery âPeriphery III: Select Difficultyâ â American prog-metal band Periphery snare their fifth top 50 appearance with Periphery III: Select Difficulty. The groupâs fifth studio album is their first to chart in the top ten, taking over from Juggernaut: Alpha (#22 Feb. â15) as their highest charting album in Australia.

Major Lazer's collaboration with Justin Bieber and MÃ is the UK's Official Singles Chart Number 1 for a second consecutive week.Cold Water has passed 100,000 chart equivalent sales for the second week in a row with 104,000 of you buying or streaming the track over the past seven days. The Ed Sheeran-penned song was the most streamed single of the week and outperformed its 102,000 garnering figure from last week.
Major Lazer told Official Charts last week: "We can't believe we have our first Number 1 and are amazed at the support from the UK. We have a lot more coming for you this summer!"
Calum Scott's slow burning single Dancing On My Own climbs one place to Number 2, a new peak after 15 weeks on the chart. Jonas Blue's BPI certified Silver single Perfect Strangers falls one place to 3, followed by two non-movers - The Chainsmokers' Don't Let Me Down and Drake's One Dance at 4 and 5 respectively.

Three high climbers follow shortly after at Numbers 20, 21 and 22. twenty one pilots' Heathens becomes their second Top 20 entry, up 14 to Number 20, Titled from Christine and the Queens jolts six places to 21 and Anne-Marie's Australian Top 10 single Alarm rises 10 spots to 22.
Halsey scores her first Top 40 single courtesy of her featured slot on The Chainsmokers' new entry Closer (33) and finally, Fifth Harmony's All In My Head (Flex) springs into the Top 40 for the first time, up 10 to 36.

Viola Beach's debut album has entered at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart, as fans pay tribute to the band this week.In February this year, the four members of the Warrington band and their manager were tragically killed when their car fell from a highway bridge into a canal in Stockholm.
In memory of vocalist Kris Leonard, guitarist River Reeves, bassist Tomas Lowe, drummer Jack Dakin and their manager Craig Tarry, the families and friends of the group have released the bandâs self-titled collection â and today it officially claims the top spot.
The families of the band and their manager said in a statement:
âThe tragedy that ended Craig, Jack, Kris, River & Tom's lives in Sweden and the pain and sense of loss will never leave us. By sending the Viola Beach album to Number 1 the public have sent out an important message to the world.
âThe tragic circumstance that met Viola Beach and their manager Craig that fateful night in Sweden will not now define their lives. What will now define their lives and what they will be remembered for, forever, is the music they were so passionate about making together.
âFor that, we will be eternally humbled and ever thankful to every single person who by buying this glorious album has invested in their lasting musical legacy. The pain will never leave us but neither will the affection shown by every fan. Maybe one day that affection will live longer in the memory than the pain.
So from us all, a simple but heartfelt 'thank youâ.â
Martin Talbot, Chief Executive, Official Charts Company, said: âIt is hard to think of an album which more people were rooting for than the Viola Beach release â nor a success which has felt so bitter-sweet. We (and the wider music community) are delighted that it has taken the number 1 spot â but it is an awful tragedy that Jack, Kris, River, Tomas and Craig are not here to see themselves take a place in the annals of British music.â
Viola Beachâs album features nine songs, including the track Swings and Waterslides, which entered the Official Singles Chart at Number 11 following the news of their untimely deaths.
Since then, a number of acts have paid tribute to the band, including Coldplayâs performance of their track Boys That Sing during their headline slot at Glastonbury in June.
Meanwhile, rounding out the Top 5 are last weekâs Number 1 from ELO, All Over The World (2), Christine and The Queens' Chaleur Humaine at 3, Drake's Views at 4 and Adeleâs 25 at 5.
[h=4]New entries and high climbers[/h]Elsewhere in this weekâs Top 10, itâs ninth time lucky for DJ Khaled as the producerâs ninth studio album Major Key becomes his first UK Top 40 album, landing at Number 7, and Beyonceâs Lemonade rebounds four places to 10.
Funk singer Nao's debut album For All We Know is brand new at Number 17, and Canadian band Billy Talent debut at 23 with their fifth record Afraid Of Heights.
Finally, legendary electronic producer Chicane earns his fifth Top 40 album today with his new compilation Twenty, bowing at Number 40.
