From their debut album, Into the Night we Slide â the Radio Rats (quite a few years later) with âZX Danâ which was kept off the number one spot on the SA charts at the time by one Michael Jackson! Lol! This is not the entire original line-up, but the core is there and they sound the same ⦠these days the lead guitarist is also a leading anaesthetist â they play and record part-time.

"Power", from Sounds That Canât Be Made, by Marillion. Their cover artwork is super cool â the binary data that you can see, somewhat indistinctly on the clip, is taken from the Arecibo message (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arecibo_message), and that twirly thingy is a 3D printout of a cardioid which I would imagine is a nod to the cardioid microphone which has a heart/apple shaped sensitivity pattern. I like the thought that went into all of this!

^Well ⦠itâs a non-pragmatic thing. Re the title/track, in the words of Steve Rothery â âItâs about non-verbal communication, like when youâre in a relationship. Couples have things that donât need to be said out loud. Thatâs the literal meaning of the song. In general, itâs also about non-verbal communication in any context. As a musician, you can also take it in another way. Itâs like when you throw down the gauntlet and challenge yourself to come up with something sonically interesting. Youâre creating the sound, but how you arrive at that sound is through some sort of sonic weirdness.â
