I like the artwork on this album, using three different styles of images. It is very important to have outstanding artwork which matches the music.

never heard of her but the album just came up in Rolling Stone's best of 2015 list and I was
immediately drawn to this one.

Mom's Apple Pie self titled 1971. When this came out there was a huge uproar over the cover. The cover depicts a mom holding a apple pie with a slice taken out of it and she is licking her lips. The missing slice is a vagina. Needless to say the album was pulled from the shelves and reissued without the offending female genetalia depiction. I bought this when it first came out with the original cover. They were a rock band hailing from Warren Ohio and were pretty good. Here is a youtube link of the album in question.

Love the bank of speakers at the back right of the picture. At first look they seem to be kitchen cabinets very clever.

I always thought of Bowie as more of a singles artist than an albums artist but yes...
Scary Monsters is one of best albums IMO also
I still prefer 1979's "lodger" though, and 2013's "the next day" is bloody good also.
