I am actually beginning to think that the powers that be/the media have desensitized people to intelligent, evocative, emotive music. Because if there are all these good bands out there, and I am sure that there are, why is no-one paying any attention to them. If the youth only have Kanye West to look up to no wonder it's all going south. God help us.

it will be a bigger farce than the Trumpty Dumpty machine that shows no sign of slowing down
after the results yesterday.
back to the question...
it wouldn't surprise me if I found out that the major labels throw money to the radio stations to get airplay,
ie: buy the airtime for their artists because no sel respecting DJ would promote such crap...or would they?
