That's an interesting point. I had a friend who is a bass player, and whilst he still loves music he can't help but dissect it and note the imperfections in the way it's played.

It might be similar to people who are born blind. My understanding is that their dreams don't contain images and that - when they see after an operation, say - it's overwhelming and scary. Perhaps it's the same with sound?

I do not think there can be huge peoples in the class of non music lover .... I think music is the soul of life.
