Janis Joplin
Dolores O'Riordan (The Cranberries)
Amy Lee (Evanescence)
Grace Slick
There are others, but I can't immediately bring them to mind.. Well, except Koko Taylor.
But she's more "Blues" than what this thread is meant for, I think.
