And 1 hour after the previous post it stands at almost 395 000 cases!! One hour ago it was at roughly 330 000. So 65 000 new cases in an hour. Major shit on the horizon. Where's that vaccine Big Pharma?

we're doing extremely well.
here in West Australia we have had no community transmition for over 6months now,
only cases have been from returing citizens from overseas and they have had to isolate in designated hotels for 14days upon arrival whether they test positive or not.

Thought India would have overtaken the USA by now. I was obviously wrong but the figures in the States are accurate. I'm not so sure about India. I see SA has slipped down another slot after being overtaken by Peru which is climbing really fast. Iran and Germany will be overtaking SA as well at the rate they are climbing.
Roughly this time yesterday the worldwide count was 50,395,000 - now stands at 50,812,000 up by 400,000 in 24 hours.

Your page seems more up to date than the Johns Hopkins Map site. They're at 50.8 million. Yours is over 51.2 million. Can't believe the speed of transmission of this virus.

it is excellerating....last 1.3 million in 41 hrs,
and the US surpasses 250,000 deaths as the world surpasses 1.3 million deaths.

currently Australia's stats are still pretty good compared to the rest of the West.
cases: 27,711
recovered: 25,478
deaths: 907
there are no community based transmitions here in Australia
all persons currently positive are those who have managed to return from overseas
they are currnetly in being quarentined for 14 days minimum or until they are virus free (whichever is the latter).
here in West Australia (and Queensland) there have been no community spreads for over six months.
Victoria/New South Wales have been community Covid free for just over 2weeks now.
many shops still have limits on in-store customers
most stores installed perspex screens at the counters months ago to help stop the airborne spread.
probably 10% of stores are refusing to accept cash.
most major food stores are offering free delivery to the elderly and those with comprimised imune systems if required.
1.5m/5ft distancing rules still apply.
ALL have compulsary use of hand sanitiser prior to entering
some places still ask questions and take temperature prior to allowing people in their premises.
but everywhere is open and just about back to normal as far as normality goes.
the general population is complying with this requests/laws purely because we dont want the same severe outbreaks as Europe/US.

Canada has a drastic increase due to air travel and close contact in the warm weather ! For a population of 37 million there are over 1100 cases in our largest province Ontario and 82 in my province Nova Scotia !
I am afraid that Christmas will not be the same.
