Puts up the closed sign does the man in the corner shop
Serves his last then he says goodbye to him
He knows it is a hard life

But it's nice to be your own boss really

Walks off home does the last customer
He is jealous of the man in the corner shop
He's sick of working at the factory
Says it must be nice to be your own boss, really

Sells cigars to the boss from the factory
He is jealous of the man in the corner shop
He is sick of struggling so hard
Says it might be nice to own a factory

Go to church do the people from the area
All shapes and classes sit and pray together
For here they are all one
For God created all men equal

Go to church do the people from the area
Go to church do the people from the area
Go to church do the people from the area

For God created all men equal, they know

That God created all men equal, they know
That God created all men equal, they know
That God created all men equal, they know
That God created all men equal, they know

^^
heard that getting piped through the speakers at the local mall yesterday.
hadn't heard it in a while and thought how fresh it still sounded after all these years.
when I get my music library all sorted properly (this week hopefully LOL) i'll make a point of
dusting off some Lennon

And if you like French prog you might want to try Italian - Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, for example - Darwin! Noisy and larger than life.

Well, that was cool. Very jammy. Will share with some of my more lysergic friends.

^Yep - super trippy!

From Colin Blunstone's uninspired Echo Bridge. Such a gorgeous voice largely wasted here on a bit of a wishy washy effort. Oh well ...

I’m a bessotted fan of Liza Fischer who has finally gotten to perform in a setting where she really belongs after decades of working as a backing singer. Mind you, the kind of backing singer who managed to upstage Mick Jagger every time she was on stage with him.

I can’t remember much about the software that runs this forum. It appears there’s no way to have a video clip appear directly within a post, all we can do is give the link?

From Rod Argent's debut solo album, Moving Home. He doesn't have a wonderful voice I must say, but he sure as hell knows his way around the ivories. A surprising personnel lineup includes Gary Moore - mostly acoustic guitar, Phil Collins - drums, Alphonso Johnson - bass. Instrumental alert ...

While on the subject of Rod Argent - The Zombies with a hugely satisfying song (to me, at any rate). Perfect pop - love this clip. RIP Jim Rodford (bass).
