Im listening to this new artist called " Dappa Yute" found him on youtube one day - i was very impressed - he's a jamaican that can do some spitting! lol well anyways i also found his album on youtube... but its not just strictly rap, as far as i am concerned...his album suits every mood.....wish i could put up a video - but that will have to wait :laugh:

Louisiana rapper out with his second release after the #24 success of his 1st. Two singles have already been released off of here, Halle Berry (She's Fine) which is my fav and Headboard which I just took as a porn track, and some heavy editing must have taken place. Only other one I could handle was I Want It. The rest was crap rap.

Every once in awhile a rap album will come out and just suck me in. This ain't it. Another New Orleans rapper. This is his 4th album and the first I've heard. The overall theme is the long green. Almost every track is the pronouncement that money is king. Seems to be an obsession. Owns his own label called Cash Money. I always wonder if these rappers will ever figure out that if they cut back on the niggas and bitches and ho's they might actually sell more music as the result of more airplay. Nothing worse than watching rap videos with a bunch of blank spaces. Guess you gotta be who you are. There was one standout track for me so you can bet that will never be a single, but most just wasn't doing it. Featured artists of Drake, Lil Wayne and T-Pain.

This album fulfills his current contract. The release has been delayed several times. Originally set for Feb 2008. Makes it out in Nov 2009. Now that's a delay.
