I felt like this when I heard the Stone Roses debut (some years after issue!) - but this Strokes album just doesn't do it for me - should do - but doesn't, I don't get it.

Debut from Aussie band formed in 2006. Singer reminds me of the guy from Fine Young Cannibals. Interesting sound. Discovered by the producer of the Arctic Monkeys debut, he must have seen/heard something. From these clips of live performances they look like a pretty good live act. Nothing really grabbed me, and the guys vocals seem so slurred on some tracks. I liked the music much more than the vocals, but then I'm not a fan of instrumentals, so that leaves me hangin'. Sweet Disposition must be the promoted single since there is a video for it.
