Wasn't sure who wrote this or recorded it first, but this is the man. A lot of versions over the
years and I can't think of one I don't love. Eric Burdons stands out for me. Film maker Percy Henzell
heard the track and requested it and Jimmy for his The Harder They Come which brought Jimmy his fame.
Ub40's version had the most success with the song making the UK's chart at #16. Wiki lists over 50
covers. A tribute to it's greatness.
