What always amuses me is that I can never remember the names of the other two guys which are quite clearly printed on the cover! It's like they're ghosts. Weird! Or maybe it's just me! LOL Crazy's "C" cds... - CRAZY-HORSE - 26-06-2014 me too, yet they were an integral part of the album also, they were part of CSNY its also pretty hard to knock the Byrds,Hollies and Buffalo Springfield also, i know BS didnt sell very well, but they were all great bands in their own right, and to come together and make an even better band...well, you know?! i saw CSN here in Perth at a festival a couple of years ago...those guys still have "it"...especially Stephen Stills, great guitar playing and vocals, he pretty much held the whole thing together singlehandedly(not that the other two were bad) but Stills was clearly the 'leader of the pack' IMO Crazy's "C" cds... - Jerome - 26-06-2014 Don't know if you have it CH, but 'Daylight Again' is a masterpiece. (Wasted on the Way, Southern Cross, The Delta & the title track) Crazy's "C" cds... - CRAZY-HORSE - 26-06-2014 Jerome Wrote:Don't know if you have it CH, but 'Daylight Again' is a masterpiece. (Wasted on the Way, Southern Cross, The Delta & the title track) no i dont have it Jerome, thanks for the tip mate. i only have their debut as a trio i read somewhere once that Daylight Again started life as Stills,Nash project with Art garfunkel, apparently their label told them it has to be solo projects or CSN/CSNY only, i read they held out for a few months but their recording company didnt give in to them, charging them directly for their studio time until they made it a CSN album.... i would have thought any of those guys could have really done what they wanted even in the 1980s...so much for "free artist expression"! |
