Also had a recurring dream about an old house when I was doing my apprenticeship,
Each time I dreampt it it I ventured further into the big old three floor house..
In a room on the third floor the floor was covered with dead bees.
The last room the dream allowed me to enter was the basement and as I took my first few steps down a voice said "you don't belong here, get out"
Anyway,
A few months later I worked in a house that was identical to the one in my dream and sure enough there was a room that was full of dead bees!
My dad wanted me to do some work in the basement, I opened the door and felt a deja vu moment, needless to say I refused to enter it, I have no idea what was down there or why my dream told me to keep out...
Was is haunted down there or was it simply unsafe? I guess I'll never know!!!
To add a footnote to the story,
It was the only three floor house I have ever been in, especially on that old and it was also the only house in Australia I have ever seen a basement in, obviously there are others but I've never seen them!!!

yes I have heard of it, saw it in that reality show Ghost Hunters/Ghost Hunters International.
and as usual no proof is ever found on these shows, I watched them mainly for the historical stories behind the places they visited/investigated.

the last house Dani and I lived in had an almost constant stream of activity....
it started less than a week after we moved in until we moved a couple of years later...
we started seeing things out of the corner of our eyes or shadows moving past doorways...
took us at least a month before one of us mentioned to the other what was happening only to find we were both seeing the same things...
ended up counting at least half a dozen entities in the house...
a tall thin one about six foot tall (we both got the feeling it was male), a shorter one about 5'7", we assume was a female, another about the size of the average
thirteen year old, we got the impression it was a boy, something that had no distinct shape about the size of a medium sized dog, and another indistinct shape about the
size of a large cat/small dog...
later on, there was something creepy that we used to see in the passageway, looked like a black mass whose features reminded us of animal from the Muppets, it sent chills up our spines and the hairs on our necks were raised whenever we saw that one...
now on to some examples of what happened:
1..when someone was alone in the house we'd hear footsteps down the passage almost constant...
2..we'd get the strange sensation we were being watched, this happened all through the house...
3..things used to disappear and reappear in the strangest places, like salt/pepper wouldn't be in the kitchen it would be in the bathroom etc...
4..i woke up one night to the mattress bouncing like when someone sits on the end of the bed, Dani was fast asleep yet there was a depression in the mattress at
the end of the bed...
5..Dani was up late one night on her computer and she ran in the bedroom terrified, whilst at the computer she felt someone brush her hair from her ears and make a hissing
sound in her ear, she thought it was me, when she looked around there was no one there, I was snoring away in dreamland...
6..one of Dani's daughter's was pushed rom behind whilst in the kitchen, on another occasion she was pushed in the back whilst we were all at the table watching...
7..Dan's mum said to Dani one afternoon, "i think Lloyd is home, I just saw him walk past the window", I was not home...
8..the tv used to turn of and off by itself as did my cd player, lights in the middle of the night too, even the kettle in the kitchen used to click on and off or no reason,
cupboard doors would open by themselves also...
9..when we were out the back with the Labrador, he would stop playing stare at the window of the kitchen, his hackles would raise and he would growl, when we looked there was no one coming up the drive, no postman, no nothing, and as people know, Labradors do not growl or show hackles ever...!
anyway, one day I bought some sage from the spiritual shop in the area and 'cleansed' the house by walking through each room with it smoldering away...
that bad looking thing I mentioned earlier never came back, but after a couple of week the other entities all came back...
I checked with local historians at the local library and apparently where our house was there used to be a farmhouse over a hundred years ago, it burnt down in a
bushfire, the family couldn't escape the fire and were burned alive according to local records...
whether they were the entities he had living with us, we'll never know I guess....coincidence or fact???

My hubby thinks his dead Mom is living with us. He is very sick as I have said and told me just last night he was dying.
So, I really don't know what the deal with his Mom is. Might just be his mind but then again who knows.
He might be like my Grandma before she died communicating with the dead.

The house I currently live in is calm and undisturbed to me, I don't notice any paranormal activity here. I'm cool with that and it feels good to me.

I did email paranormal investigators on two occasions and left a message on their phone once, but no one replied or got back to me...
that was their loss IMO...
I would have been willing to let them have the house for a weekend or whatever to see what they could find but it never happened
