Weekly Music Charts for 2017 - CRAZY-HORSE - 01-04-2017

For the fourth week in succession, Ed Sheeran tops the ARIA Albums Chart with ÷. Both of Sheeranâs other studio albums, X and +, have slipped out of the top ten this week, theyâre at #11 and #13, respectively.
After dropping to #9 last week, the soundtrack to Beauty And The Beast scores a new peak this week with a jump to #4.
The Moana soundtrack has moved back into the top ten, jumping from #12 to #8. The Sing soundtrack has also jumped back up the chart, itâs gone from #20 to #12
Currently on tour, the Dixie Chicks have two entries in the top 50 this week. The highest entry comes from compilation The Essential, which re-enters at #21. Theyâve also picked up a debut (see below).
Twenty One Pilots, also on tour, have re-entered at #23 with Blurryface (#7 Aug. â16).
American country star Kip Moore returns to the top 50 at #29 with Wild Ones on the back of his national tour.

#2: Lee Kernaghan âThe 25th Anniversary Albumâ â Australian country star Lee Kernaghan celebrates a quarter of a century since the release of his debut album The Outback Club (#58 May. â94) with The 25th Anniversary Album. Kernaghanâs thirteenth studio album features collaborations with James Blundell, Adam Brand, Adam Harvey, The McClymonts, Kasey Chambers and more. He last charted with Spirit Of The Anzacs (#1 Mar. â15).
#3: Northlane âMesmerâ â Sydney metalcore band Northlane return with fourth studio album Mesmer. The album was released on 24 March with no prior warning. Itâs the follow-up to Node (#1 Aug. â15).
#7: James Blunt âThe Afterloveâ â Singer-songwriter James Blunt releases his fifth studio album, The Afterlove. It comes four years on from his previous album, Moon Landing (#2 Oct. â13). In between studio albums, Blunt charted with the box set I'll Take Everything (#5 Oct. â15).
#10: Steel Panther âLower The Barâ â The fourth studio album from Steel Panther gives the American glam rockers their second appearance in the ARIA top ten. Lower The Bar is the follow-up to All You Can Eat (#2 Apr. â14). Steel Panther last charted with the live release Live From Lexxi's Mom's Garage (#19 Mar. â16).
#15: sleepmakeswaves âMade Of Breath Onlyâ â Sydney post-rock band sleepmakeswaves snare a second top 50 debut on the ARIA Albums Chart with Made Of Breath Only. The bandâs third album is the follow-up to Love Of Cartography (#31 Jul. â14).
#17: Ali Barter âA Suitable Girlâ â Ali Barter makes her ARIA Albums Chart debut with A Suitable Girl. The Melbourne singer-songwriterâs debut album features the track âGirlie Bitsâ, which was #58 in this yearâs Triple J Hottest 100.
#24: Trey Songz âTremaine The Albumâ â Album seven from Trey Songz gives the American R&B artist a third top 50 appearance on the ARIA Albums Chart. Tremaine The Album comes three years on from Trigga (#21 Jul. â14)
#28: Take That âWonderlandâ â Veteran British boy band Take That score their first top 50 appearance in a decade with Wonderland. Itâs the groupâs eighth studio album and second as a trio. They last appeared in the top 50 with Beautiful World (#32 Mar. â07).
#33: Mindsnare âUnholy Rushâ â With their fifth studio album Mindsnare crack the ARIA top 50 for the first time. Unholy Rush is the Melbourne hardcore bandâs fifth album and first since 2007âs Disturb The Hive.
#35: Dixie Chicks âThe Classic Albums Collectionâ â Currently on tour in Australia, the Dixie Chicks pick up a new ARIA Albums Chart entry with this box set. It includes the trioâs studio albums: Wide Open Spaces (#35 Mar. â99), Fly (#16 Sept. â99), Home (#4 May â03) and Taking The Long Way (#2 May â06).

its been remastered/reissued as part of the "McCartney archives" collection..
previous reissues include McCartney, Ram, McCartney II, Band On The Run, Speed Of Sound, Tug Of War, Venus And Mars...
(I bought the first three mentioned, but subsequent reissues contain less extras/bonus material so I didn't bother)..
the Flowers In The Dirt, has several editions, the single disc, the double disc, and the whopping boxset containing 3cds/dvd which costs almost $200 USD,
it contains the original album remastered, the Costello/Paul demo's of all the songs they wrote together, including those that appeared on Elvis' "spike" album,
and a dvd (not sure whats on that though)...
I was looking foreward to this one being reissued, I expected a lot more than it is, so I wont be getting it, which is a shame because it is one of my favourite Macca albums.

Notching up its thirteenth consecutive week in the top spot, Ed Sheeranâs âShape Of Youâ this week equals the record for most weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. It joins Coolioâs âGangstaâs Paradiseâ (#1 Oct. â95) at the top of the list. If the track holds the top spot for one more week, it will be the outright record holder.
In its fifth week in the top 50, Sheeranâs âGalway Girlâ scores a new peak at #2. The track is up seven spots from last week and is the third single from #1 album ÷.
Clean Banditâs âSymphonyâ moves up a further four spots, to score a new peak at #14.
As âMask Offâ moves up ten spots to #22, Futureâs âSelfishâ re-enters the top 50 at #43.
Rag'N'Bone Manâs âHumanâ re-enters at #38. Itâs the trackâs eighteenth week in the top 50.
Debuts:
#6: Kendrick Lamar âHumble.â â American rapper Kendrick Lamar takes out his first top ten on the ARIA Singles Chart with âHumble.â. The track is the second to chart from Lamarâs forthcoming fourth album, following on from last weekâs chart appearance by âThe Heart Part 4â (#35 Apr. â17). Lamarâs previous chart peak was with âKing Kuntaâ (#32 Feb. â16).
#24: Calvin Harris Feat. Young Thug, Pharrell Williams & Ariana Grande âHeatstrokeâ â A second Singles Chart entry in 2017 for British DJ Calvin Harris. The track, which features vocals by Young Thug, Pharrell Williams and Ariana Grande, comes a month on from âSlideâ (#11 Mar. â17). Itâs Harrisâ 21st top 50- entry.
#34: Jason Derulo Feat. Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla $ign âSwallaâ â A year on from charting with âIf It Ain't Loveâ (#34 Apr. â16), Jason Derulo returns with âSwallaâ. Itâs the lead single from Deruloâs forthcoming fifth album and features appearances from Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign.
#36: The Chainsmokers âThe Oneâ â American duo The Chainsmokers score their third chart entry for the year with âThe Oneâ. Like âParisâ (#4 Jan. â17) and the Coldplay collaboration âSomething Just Like Thisâ (#2 Mar. â17), the new track comes from the just-released album Memories...Do Not Open.
#41: Bliss N Eso Feat. Gavin James âMomentsâ â With the release of their sixth album, Off The Grid, under a month away, Sydneyâs Bliss N Eso hit the Singles Chart with âMomentsâ. The track is the follow-up to âDopamineâ (#38 Oct. â16) and features American soul singer Lee Fields.
#49: Cheat Codes Feat. Demi Lovato âNo Promisesâ â LA trio Cheat Codes pick up their third Singles Chart entry as lead artists with âNo Promisesâ. The follow-up to âLet Me Hold You (Turn Me On)â (#38 Oct. â16) includes vocals by Demi Lovato.
#50: Dean Lewis âWavesâ â The debut ARIA Singles Chart appearance for Dean Lewis. âWavesâ comes from Lewisâ soon-to-be-released debut EP.

Itâs week five at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart for Ed Sheeranâs ÷. Previous album X returns to the top ten at #9.
In its fifteenth week in the top 50, the soundtrack to Moana has jumped up six spots to pick up a new peak at #2.
The Sing soundtrack returns to the top ten for seventh week, jumping up from #12 to #6.
As well as the title track re-entering the top 50 on the Singles Chart at #38, Rag'N'Bone Manâs âHumanâ moves up the Albums Chart from #18 to #11.
Currently on a co-headlining tour with Blondie, Cyndi Lauper this week returns to the top 50 with Detour. Itâs at #15.
Debuts:
#3: Mastodon âEmperor Of Sandâ â With their seventh studio album, American metal band Mastodon have picked up their highest peak on the ARIA Albums Chart. Emperor Of Sand is the follow-up to Once More 'Round The Sun (#7 Jun â14) and becomes the bandâs second album to hit the top ten.
#7: Jamiroquai âAutomatonâ â British funk band Jamiroquai return with their first album in seven years, Automaton. The follow-up to Rock Dust Light Star (#13 Nov. â10) gives the group their fourth top ten on the ARIA Albums Chart, which includes #1s with Synkronized (#1 Jun. â99) and A Funk Odyssey (#1 Sept. â01).
#12: Body Count âBloodlustâ â Ice T-fronted metal band Body Count return to the top 50 for the first time since 1994 with Bloodlust. The follow-up to 2014âs Manslaughter is the bandâs third album to hit the ARIA top 50 and the first since Born Dead (#5 Sept. â94).
#16: Jon Stevens âStarlightâ â Former Noiseworks frontman Jon Stevens returns to the ARIA Albums Chart as a solo artist with Starlight. Stevensâ tenth studio album is his first to chart since Are U Satisfied (#27 Oct. â93) and features appearances by Vanessa Amorosi and Ringo Starr.
#19: Polish Club âAlright Alreadyâ â Sydney rockers Polish Club hit the Albums Chart with their debut album Alright Already. Prior to the albumâs release, the duo released a self-titled EP in October 2015.
#20: Goldfrapp âSilver Eyeâ â The seventh album from British electronic duo Goldfrapp becomes their sixth top 50 entry on the ARIA Albums Chart. Silver Eye comes four years on from Tales Of Us (#15 Sept. â13). Seventh Tree (#11 Mar. â08) remains Goldfrappâs highest peak.
#23: Soundtrack âBig Little Lies (Music From The HBO Limited Series)â â Following the finale of the seven part HBO series, the soundtrack to Big Little Lies makes its ARIA Charts debut. The album features tracks played throughout the show by the likes of Michael Kiwanuka, Leon Bridges, Alabama Shakes, Martha Wainwright, Charles Bradley and more.
#34: Jimmy Barnes & The Wiggles âOch Aye The G'nuâ â ARIA Hall Of Fame members Jimmy Barnes and The Wiggles team up for the new childrenâs album Och Aye The G'nu. Based on a character created by Barnes, the album features current and former Wiggles members, as well as members of the Barnes family. Jimmy Barnes last charted with Soul Searchin' (#1 Jun. â16).
#36: Bob Dylan âTriplicateâ â Triplicate is the legendary Bob Dylanâs thirty-eighth studio album and third in three years. Like Shadows In The Night (#8 Feb. â15) and Fallen Angels (#11 May â16), the new album features covers of classic American tracks. Itâs Dylanâs first triple album.
#38: Aled Jones, Dame Joan Sutherland âOne Voiceâ â Welsh vocalist Aled Jones returns to the ARIA top 50 for the first time since 2003 with One Voice. The album features Jones duetting with his 15 year old self on tracks recorded before the former boy sopranoâs voice dropped. The Australian edition of One Voice also includes Jonesâ only recording with soprano Dame Joan Sutherland, recorded in 1986. Jones last charted with Higher (#43 Dec. â03).
#43: Kaleo âA/Bâ â Icelandic indie rock band Kaleo make their ARIA top50 debut with A/B. Itâs the groupâs second studio effort, following on from their self-titled debut, released in 2013.
