I also couldn't just pick one, so I had to go with other. I listen to different genres based on my mood. I think the only one I really can't get into is country!

I listen to hard rock and underground hip hop and rap. I like different stuff, not the run of the mill.

No genres. I keep it interesting by keeping it changing and my attitude is if I don't like it right this second, just to be patient, as it will change soon enough. Not interested in personality behind the music. I value unfamiliarity in music, as I like it to be an adventure, so I don't have favourites.

Like CH, Keef Rob, I have the same approach with music! And also if I don't like the album at first I'll listen to it again . Recent example was Anathema's new album - Weather Systems ..listened to it again and it is fantastic !!!!!..since then my listen to list has stalled...I have listened to the album a total of five times...it's that good !..the best of 2012 so far IMHO !

I put other, because my taste is eclectic. I love Classic Rock or Dad Rock and those string strings of folk. But I often like to take trips back to the 1920s, to a Speakeasy. Or to the days of my main men Martin and Sinatra... I appreciate great music, the genre is less important.
