Nice recommendation SteveO. Lots of interesting rhythms and choices of notes (melody & harmony). When he stretches out in the melody he sometimes reminds me of Elvis Costello too.

Great tune Steve! The Dirty Projectors are one of those bands that always seem to slip just beneath my radar. I give them a listen, i like what I hear mostly and then I forget about 'em. But this has reminded me to give more consideration.

A little while ago a friend of mine who has a music blog posted a song from this band Okkervil River. I had never heard of them and decided to give a listen. I found this track and it is wonderfully creepy and I have been revisiting the band this afternoon. This track is quite odd and I keep going back and forth with the degree to which I like it. Usually not the type of thing I listen to, but parts of this are just wonderfully dark you can't help but listen.
