Listened to Surfer Blood , the Pythons album ! A great album in my view, lots of punchy guitar with original rock riffs and melodies from start to finish. I heard one track disappointedly - Weird Shapes from Grooveshark and 6 others on youtube. I'm wondering if this treasure will make the Top 10 Album list at year';s end !

I watched this clip and while the guitarist is without doubt technically brilliant (fingering, harmonics, technique etc), the music lacks emotion - it's like watching a scientific experiment. Initially it's intersting and after you realise nothing is actually going to happen it becomes boring.
