The title is a misnomer however, as Love Me Do never made it to number one as I recall. It only ever made it as far as around number twenty or some such.

One hit wonder of Magnet and Steel which is not on here. Debut album from the AOR Socal soft rock song writer. This work is greatly enhanced by the contributions of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks who both produced and played/sang on most of the cuts. Those songs could very well pass for Fleetwood Mac compositions. The album reached a whopping #137 on the charts. He is still active on the music scene although his last release was in 2002.

Spiritual rock from the third Beatle! I think that George is often an underrated song writing talent......Here is asks to be given love.........he examines the breakup of the Beatles ........life after the fab four .......a quick reflection on the down side of drugs and much more.............George could always story tell and here he does it really well and with emotional power. Shame he is not with us so.....he was a gentle soul!
