John Martyn (1948-2009) - Beach - 29-01-2009 Brit guitarist extraodrinaire John Martyn has passed. Full Obit Requiescat in Pace John Martyn (1948-2009) - Tiggi - 30-01-2009 Great singer also, Beach. I first encountered JM when he supported Genesis at the big reunion Six of The Best gig at the Milton Keynes Bowl in 1982. The day was a washout, but JM blew me away in the October rain. I have loads of his albums, and love them dearly. He did live his life to the full, so I feel he definitely enjoyed the fruits of life...
