an interesting cover - jazzboCR - 16-04-2014
This appeared on my screen as if by magic: http://vube.com/The+Barberettes/E5flIyDVxo/L/vote?t=s&floatee=E5flIyDVxo&channel=The%20Barberettes << no mockery or parody apparent--they believe! The modern Chordettes? Love that sweet Seoul music...nice touch with the uke too.
Check their take on this classic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8vvpczEhSk
Then there's the Puppini Sisters--if your a fan of retro-nuevo covers by, er, "girl groups", you know them.: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30BFbBqt2Bc and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuZFdxRB2xw << this one is special. 2 from the same session: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qs6SvZdPvVU and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUiwNdYjuUo << big shout-out to SW German TV for hosting/recording this. Their take on the Patti Page classic (check also Anne Murray's take--it rips.); http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIvzqwlsbvk << Lordy, do I have a thing for redheads.
