Looking for more american rockbands - steffeeh - 22-05-2014
Like the title says, I'm trying to find new american rockbands to listen to.
I'm very into the 90's rock, as well as the beginning of the 2000's. I like that typical american sound, more than for example the typical british sound (just my taste).
I feel I'm looking for something similar to:
- Filter (especially 2nd and 3rd album)
- A Perfect Circle
- Deftones
- Foo Fighters (early days, like the 2 first albums)
- Pearl Jam (also like 2 first albums)
- Soundgarden
- Stone Temple Pilots
Otherwise I listen to:
- Alice In Chains
- Audioslave
- Creed
- Korn
- Metallica
- Nine Inch Nails
- Nirvana (no huge fan)
- The Smashing Pumpkins
- Temple Of The Dog
- System Of A Down
(So you don't recommend any bands I already know about)

As you didn't specify which of the Americas, try this: http://radio.batanga.com/?ab=batanga-home#!en/genres << scroll down and click on "Rock"--all sub-genres are there. Good excuse to learn Spanish, yes? And you might find an appealing genre you hadn't previously considered. Sharing is caring.
