I have a passion of sorts for the jazz violin, one of those obscure but effective jazz instruments...saw Grappelli twice...others I listen to Bang, Venuti, Lockwood, Jenkins, Urbniak, Ponty and Seifert !!!! There are many jazz rock violinists and less traditional jazz players. Billy Bang is a favourite....never know what note he'll play next!!!!
