Is a lyrical couplet a midget singing duo? No? Then how about "May the skin of your bum/Never cover a drum" But seriously folks: "We're all in the mood for a melody/ And you've got us feeling alright" << Isn't that the job of pop music, especially live in a smaller venue? "Piano Man" Billy Joel, who spun out tons of them, though few of them rhyming.
