A mature, robust woman singing Americana or folk-blues - jazzboCR - 01-02-2015
...or whatever you want to call it. Her Site's got a good bio: http://www.lisabiales.com/ << Opens with music. She's played guitar since she was 11. 10 or so albums since '06, none deemed worthy of a review by AMG--HA! But all available at the Usual Suspect.
Some tunes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAMBhVhISP4 << Isn't there some proviso saying that if you don't do a Beatles tune, you get thrown out of The Club? She is well-suited for this one though.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hujaDJC1Ro << Written by her friend and mentrix, E. G. Kight << nice in-studio solo appearance
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0ZGK86po6M << Texas swing with a good outfit
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlRQmv951Wo << Instrumental/vocal duet on this John Prine classic--lovely, just lovely.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hf0yjAJQc2M << informal acoustic studio session with Ms. Kight. Quite fun.

Another great find Jazzy! Lisa does a great job on While My Guitar Gently Weeps and I also enjoyed the other tracks! Thanks for the share!
