New Track Testing Addictive Keys from XLN Audio - BrainClaim - 18-02-2015
Hello again
Here I go with a track testing my new plugin Addicted Keys which offers me a lot of variations concerning piano. Since I can't play the piano and just play it on computer, it might be less rythmical than from someone who actually plays the piano. I made this track again on Renoise. Enjoy!

I liked that piece and you have a future with that gadget...as long as we remember it's a gadget. As much as I love the Hammond B-3, it's a gadget that's been taken to places it's inventors never dreamed of--un-gadgeting it, if you will. Listen to anything to anything Henry Butler has done on piano * and stack it up with anything this rig can do--this comes off as stale, static and unimaginative. I compare this to a centrally-planned economy vs. a free-market economy--no one person or group can harness all the possibilities that huge groups or unfettered genius can. Admittedly a far-fetched comparo but not that far-fetched. None of my words should inhibit your imagination; quite the reverse--be aware of limitations without being bound by them.

Thanks for your feedback! And also thanks for recommending me Hammond B-3. I will have look at it and see if I can work with that. I might combine Addictive Keys and Hammond and try to create something never heard before. Thanks again!

I only used the B-3 as an example. You will probably want what's known as a "clonewheel" electronic organ--they may be less expensive for good used, are more portable and as they are more modern and more electronic, easier to manipulate the tones, etc. See this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clonewheel_organ << 2 brands/models mentioned are the Korg CX-3 and the Roland VK-7. From what I've heard of these, you can't distinguish the native sounds and playing from a B-3. Oh yeah and then there's lugging around those Leslie cabinet speakers...
