...Then you'll love The Weeklings. Even their name is homage--the Beatles took "beetles" and switched a letter; the Weeklings took "weaklings" and switched a letter. They come by their passion and style honestly: http://wbjb.org/home.php/2015/03/23/the-weeklings-mona-lisa/ Their Site (minimalist to the max): http://www.weeklings.com/ The FB page: https://www.facebook.com/weeklings

Thank you for this great post, Jazzy! Just what the doctor ordered for a Beatle Nut! The Weeklings are very good musicians who put an interesting spin to Beatle songs! I also like their original songs done in a Beatle vein! I didn't realise that Glen Burtnik was a vocalist in Styx! As you say , a very talented man!

You are welcome, SteveO and the world. One could do an entertaining Thread just on Glen Burtnik's musical history.

there was a very funny Beatles-spoof movie made around 1980-ish called "the rutles"....
it was made by the Monty Python guys and financed by none other than George Harrison...he could see the funny side of Beatlemania in hindsight.
