Afro Bop Alliance - jazzboCR - 04-04-2015
There are 2 intertwined groups, this one taking the name of another's album title and both of them sharing players (the recurring theme is Dave Samuels). How about a look and listen to the Caribbean Jazz Project, and the Afro Bop Alliance?
Dave Samuels, Paquito D'Rivera and Andy Narrell shared a love for Caribbean-infused jazz: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caribbean_Jazz_Project and http://www.allmusic.com/artist/caribbean-jazz-project-mn0000637132/discography << All their stuff is infectious; here's the place to start >> http://www.allmusic.com/album/the-caribbean-jazz-project-mw0000178466
