Sir Bob had to go electric to reach a larger audience. He was previously viewed as an acoustic guitar/harmonica folkie troubadour. In an interview on CBC Radio, Joni Mitchell quipped that Dylan is not a very good guitar player!...lol the night Dylan stood folk music on it's head - CRAZY-HORSE - 26-07-2015 ...like his first real hit was "like a rolling stone"....! Billy Bragg was criticised the same way in the UK when he introduced a band on his albums, but that was Inevitable also.... Its just part of being a folk/protest singer... |
