KATE MILLER HEIDKE an Australian dream. Opera singer who plays pop music with ironic lyrics.
She can sell out 2000 seat theatres in Australia and can't play for 50 people in NYC. It's a crying shame. The only thing US audiences might remember is a song from the lottery "Are You Ready".
Great song live at SXSW

She just had a baby. That's a career complication for expanding a fan base. But, she's well worth a listen and a huge fan base.
While her fans attacked me. Heidke reminds me of German Punk Mother Nina Hagen.
