never heard of her but she is an Aussie and this is her forth album....
sounds like Courtney Barnett to me....
Rolling Stone describe her as:
evoking vivid musical pictures of the Velvet Underground and Crazy Horse. As usual though, it’s a record
that sees her voice strong and true, her songwriting sharp, a musician at the top of her game.”
I could hear the Lou Reed from the start of the first song, also heard Nirvana (in their quietest moments,
could certainly hear Crazy Horse style guitar style once in a while also...
a pretty good album and refreshing to hear a female artist not doing pop/rap/modern r+b

I was initially stuck for comparisons then you bought Patti Smith and I just thought PJ Harvey...

I think it will eventually chart there mate...
she is similar in vein to Aussie Courtney Barnett and her album did end up reaching #20 on the US charts after a few night show appearances
