NEW ALBUM: Mark Seymour & The Undertow "slow dawn" - CRAZY-HORSE - 13-06-2020 Spotify listen: you may remember Mark from his work as vocalist/writer for Hunters & Collectors, well this is actually his tenth solo set since those heady alt-rock days. its the first solo album of his I can recall hearing which is strange because I was a fan of H&C. hearing lots of influences here. hearing bits of so called 'heartland rock', 'americana', 'folk' and his own H&C sounds. a quality, well crafted album, better than the five or six H&C albums I own. well worth a listen MH, may even be something in it for you Ruby The Ones Who Got Away  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FimLzXn_59c&list=PL07potgjDou61yVSx8ldUHuLgkiSz2QCN&index=17  audio Applewood Road  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjj0rNCyD0Q&list=PL07potgjDou61yVSx8ldUHuLgkiSz2QCN&index=12 audio The Demon Rum https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBb-4u6zJYo&list=PL07potgjDou61yVSx8ldUHuLgkiSz2QCN&index=11 audio (my favourite with a Dylan feel) the single: RE: NEW ALBUM: Mark Seymour & The Undertow "slow dawn" - Ruby - 16-06-2020 ^I'll listen CH. Only know one Hunters & Collectors album - Cut. It was a long time ago, but it was good. A bit like an Oz answer to U2 - sort of. Did you ever see this clip? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkRNz0tR7tc RE: NEW ALBUM: Mark Seymour & The Undertow "slow dawn" - CRAZY-HORSE - 16-06-2020 U2.LOL, how embarrassing. no, had never seen that clip with Mr.V on board, he sure gets around/summons other artists to play with him! Thanks Ruby I have five of their albums but not "cut", seem to own albums either side of that one. RE: NEW ALBUM: Mark Seymour & The Undertow "slow dawn" - Ruby - 17-06-2020 Hahaha - sorry about the comparison. Couldn't resist.
