NEW SONG: Free Ukraine "kyiv calling" - CRAZY-HORSE - 21-03-2022
a group of Ukrainian musicians who have reworked The Clash' classic "london calling" into a plea for help..
i get the sentiment behind the track but couldnt they have written their own song, one that is heartfelt and totally sincere to express their feelings???
i guess the familiarity of a known tune was an easy way into people's homes.
it does the job to raise consciousness but will it achieve the result theyre looking for??
theres better songs they could have used (both from John Lennon), Power To The People and to a lesser extent Give Peace A Chance maybe???
