Nostalgia Night In - Leftfield Shoegazer - 23-10-2010 Wonder if you guys ever enjoy, what I call a 'Nostalgia Night In'? I'm currently enjoying one at the mo' and it involves digging out some of your old albums and giving them a listen - the albums that you grew up with and I suppose ones that may remind you of good times?? Tonight I've listened to, with tracks I really loved - stood out - were:- U2 'Boy' - standout track The Ocean U2 'October' - standout track Tomorrow U2 'War' - standout track Surrender U2 'Unforgettable Fire' - standout track 4th of July Simple Minds 'Sons and Fascination' - standout track Seeing Out The Angel Massive Attack 'Blue Lines' - standout track Five Man Army Now looking forward to listening to De La Soul's 3 Feet High and Rising. Nostalgia Night In - CRAZY-HORSE - 23-10-2010 i dont really have nostalgia nights as such but every now and then i have an artist day/night where i play only cds/vinyl by a particular artist. annually though, i only play Elvis on jan 8th and aug 16th,homeage to The King,i start with Gospel and end with Gospel and everything else inbetween,including a movie. |
