Syd's is worth a read , just done that.

Changeling: The Autobiography of Mike Oldfield - by Mike Oldfield
The Beatles Anthology - by Beatles Take with a pinch of salt.................they could not agree among themselves about some things

Shout!: The True Story of the Beatles by Philip Norman

John Winston Lennon & John Ono Lennon by Coleman Ray First class but hard to get

Bittersweet: The Clifford T Ward Story - Paperback (1 Oct 2003) by Dave Cartwright Really excellent read

Just nearing the end of Eric Clapton's auto. It's not bad, but nothing special.

Some reasonable ones I've read in the past:

Bill Wyman - Stone Alone: The Story of a Rock 'n' Roll Band

Bob Dylan - Chronicles Volume 1

Nick Mason - Inside Out: A Personal History of Pink Floyd

John Peel - Margrave of The Marshes (JP wasn't a musician but a now-deceased, brilliant UK DJ & musicologist)

Plus, I haven't read it, but have heard from several reliable sources that the Keidis book mentioned above is very good

John Lydon - No Irish No Blacks No Dogs - brilliant autobiography by Sex Pistols frontman

Surprisingly, I haven't read many but one I would recommend to you is Jack Bruce's 'Composing Himself' from earlier this year. Very informative and at the back has a chronological list of all the gigs hes ever played from say 1963 to present day. Plus it had some interesting stuff on the short lived BBM trio he was in the mid 90s who just happen to be one of my favourite bands.

Surprised I don't have any more of these than I do.
All bios are good to me
I have:
Bruce Springsteen
Leonard Cohen
Bob Dylan
Frank Sinatra
Tony Bennet
that's all I can think of but there may be more of the older stuff

I'm sure there are a bunch of them out there.
I may even have more than one, and don't know the names of them.
Frank was just a great guy as a person imo.
